Sometimes we need a gentle reminder of what God is saying to us.
The word of the day today is:
Come.
Come to Jesus.
Come to the cross.
Come all who are weary.
Come all who are thirsty.
Come.

The word come is an invitation to drawn closer to Jesus.
Yes, you are invited. Not to condemn you, but rather to redeem you. To show you more of God’s love. To speak to the needs of your heart right where you are. To replace the lies with truth. To set you free and give you life to the full today.
The word of the day remains the same every day, God says, “come.”
So how will you respond?
Need a few reminders of His invitation?
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” Matthew 4:19
“Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. Matthew 14:29
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. Matthew 25: 34
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life. Revelation 22:17

Great Word and reminder of what I Have Not been doing enough of during this season of grief. For some reason I have been ‘going’ instead of coming to Him. I definitely need to respond to this Word today:) Thanks Friend!

And sometimes we don’t need a gentle reminder, but a loud, clanging reminder! This post reminds me of a Max Lucado book I read forever ago. . .I think it was called The Cross. Simple, but powerful, just like this!
