Withdrawals From Blogging

I just can’t stay away. I enjoyed a weekend break from blogging, but truly I love to write my thoughts. So here I am again. Ready to rumble.

Random thoughts:

*Self pity takes root and grows into an orchard of sour fruit. Time to cut down some bad trees. The good fruit trees need more room to grow. I’m trying to prune my acres of deep rooted thoughts. They’ve invaded my marriage and parenting and friendships. I’m ready to spray for bugs too.

*Comparing is a trap. One step in its direction causes a snap and intense pain. Until you reach down and release the contraption, you are its victim. It has you. Even after you release its hold, you will bleed for a while. Avoid the trap of comparison. Focus on what you do have. The good. The little things. Family and friends.

*Dream big. Forget small thinking. Do something so out of your box that God has show up or else you will fall on your face. You serve a bigger-than-life God. He wants to use you.
