Nothing like God’s peace!
Thank you, Lord, for showing me what resting in You looks like through geese. Some drank freely from the melting pond waters. Others took a bath and dove in for a snack. Some felt so comfortable in the warmth of the sun that they took a nap.
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)
(pic taken yesterday at a local park)
Don’t forget to look and listen to ways that God is speaking!

The "peace" of God passes all our understanding, huh? Beautiful thing.
Have a wonderful weekend Tiffany!
Thanks for sharing this..and the "Amazing" song yesterday. That song is so powerful to me. Waiting, waiting…that is a theme in my life lately.
Rest indeed; praying I know such carefree comfort this weekend.

Great reminder to trust God in the midst of it all! Amen!
Good analogy. If we would just take things as they come and trust God for the outcome we would be much bettr off. Blessings,
Rose
Tiffany- some of the most basic seem to be the hardest to get at times Trusting God, cannot get much more basic than that, yet i seem to stumble with doing it daily. Thank you for the great pics of the geese and the Scriptures that serve as anchors to remind us God is always here. Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting on my blog too ๐
Yes, He is always speaking! And through the peace, we are still enough to hear Him. Blessings to you sweet friend. Have a wonderful weekend!

Tiffany, your sweet heart always shines through in your posts. Thank you. ๐
I need to rest in Him. This week has been crazy. Thank you for this reminder!
What a great post!! And beautiful pictures!
Thank you for the birthday wishes yesterday. ๐
Have a blessed weekend!
What a beautiful picture….with beautiful words. You always leave us with something to think about.
Thanks for stopping in…this scripture is on my fridge…I LOVE the amplified version….I think I love the blogging world because God has used it to lift me up and remind me to "see" Him all around…such an encouragement when the "dark night of the soul" season has gone on so long. He is the light that dispels ALL darkness.
Oh wow, now i see the beauty at the park. Love that verse.
It was great visiting your blog and what a great reminder to rest in God's peace no matter our circumstance!
I look forward to seeing you again soon!
Stop, look and listen. What a simple, slow approach to life–it's so great that you're calling your readers to do this in our fast-paced world…at the very least on Fridays (if not every day).
Beautiful ducks and a lovely, simple observation…
Neat pictures and application.
This was very encouraging to me today, thank you!
You took those pictures yourself? They are so beautiful!
Have a great weekend!
Tiffany, thanks so much for visiting my blog! Always such a blessing to meet a fellow writer in blogland. What a wonderful reminder about resting in God — no better place to be!
Blessings to you!
Oh yes resting in God. I never knew God would take me to a place where amidst a move, an 11 month old, starting my own business and at the moment, a busted water heater, I could stand firm and know peace. Geese always amaze me too. Their migrating flying formations inspire me as well. I think God's church could take a lesson there too.
On a funny note (figuring since your TEA with Tiffany and all) I thought of you as I told my good ole English friend sharing her English tea with me if I could get more caffiene faster if I just wet the tea bag and sucked on it. She thought maybe I shouldn't try that. I didn't. It was tempting though. Sleep deprivation does that. Good times. Good times.
Hi Tiffany, Thank you for stopping by my blog. I have been visiting yours. Beautiful! Loved your "about me" story.
: )
Thanks for visiting my blog today AND leaving a comment!!!
Thanks for popping in to my blog! Those ice pictures could have been taken in my local park this week!
Thanks also for your words – very encouraging.
That is an awesome analogy. I love this. You can find peace in Him no matter what our circumstance. BEautiful.
Beautiful post! I love that verse. I quote it to myself often. Have a peaceful day!
Wow, I never thought to ask "what does trusting in God look like? Thank God you did! It's a beautiful picture…
Excellent analogy Tiffany! What a great illustration for a teaching on living carefree in God's care.
Hi Tiffany,
I wanted to drop in say hi and see how you were doing. Things are finally getting settled down for us. My kids start their new school on Tuesday.
I wish you a blessed week!

Beautiful pictures and one of my favorite verses! There is nothing better than the peace that comes with trusting Him!
Blessings!
