Nothing like God’s peace!
Thank you, Lord, for showing me what resting in You looks like through geese. Some drank freely from the melting pond waters. Others took a bath and dove in for a snack. Some felt so comfortable in the warmth of the sun that they took a nap.
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)
(pic taken yesterday at a local park)
Don’t forget to look and listen to ways that God is speaking!

The "peace" of God passes all our understanding, huh? Beautiful thing.
Have a wonderful weekend Tiffany!

Great reminder to trust God in the midst of it all! Amen!

Good analogy. If we would just take things as they come and trust God for the outcome we would be much bettr off. Blessings,

Tiffany- some of the most basic seem to be the hardest to get at times Trusting God, cannot get much more basic than that, yet i seem to stumble with doing it daily. Thank you for the great pics of the geese and the Scriptures that serve as anchors to remind us God is always here. Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting on my blog too ๐

Thanks for stopping in…this scripture is on my fridge…I LOVE the amplified version….I think I love the blogging world because God has used it to lift me up and remind me to "see" Him all around…such an encouragement when the "dark night of the soul" season has gone on so long. He is the light that dispels ALL darkness.

Stop, look and listen. What a simple, slow approach to life–it's so great that you're calling your readers to do this in our fast-paced world…at the very least on Fridays (if not every day).
Beautiful ducks and a lovely, simple observation…

Oh yes resting in God. I never knew God would take me to a place where amidst a move, an 11 month old, starting my own business and at the moment, a busted water heater, I could stand firm and know peace. Geese always amaze me too. Their migrating flying formations inspire me as well. I think God's church could take a lesson there too.
On a funny note (figuring since your TEA with Tiffany and all) I thought of you as I told my good ole English friend sharing her English tea with me if I could get more caffiene faster if I just wet the tea bag and sucked on it. She thought maybe I shouldn't try that. I didn't. It was tempting though. Sleep deprivation does that. Good times. Good times.
