Wanted to say hi and invite y’all (y’all for my Southern friends) to pick a word or verse for 2011.

  1. What great words for you this year! Mine is Psalm 34:1, I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips. If I am praising God, I can’t complain. My focus is on Him and not my problems.

    • Alicia, I believe you will see great things happen as you focus on God. He is life. I need to remember that when I get stuck looking inward. And you are right, praise is key…

  2. Tiffany – my word for 2011 is obey. God has been speaking to me over the course of several months about obeying Him – not partially, but fully.

    • Joan, what a word. Obey. That’s a huge word. Brave.

      I tend to obey after a delay. And in my eyes, delayed obedience is still disobedience. I want faith to believe and follow right away.

  3. Hi Tiffany!
    Oooo! I have a word for 2011. SURRENDER.
    My theme for 2009 was TRUST, and in 2010 it was OBEY. As I sat reflecting and journaling on 1-1-11, I realized my word for this year is SURRENDER. Just blogged about it last night, actually (to be posted next week).
    Anyway, I am excited about my new word. Because I know I can trust God; I know His way is best; and I don’t want to go any other way!

      Surrender is perfect. I love it. You cannot go wrong with surrender. So I say wave that white flag. Let Him lead you into new territory. I trust it’ll be a beautiful journey.

    • Hey Jason, thanks for sharing your word. I love it. FEARLESS!! Especially considering I have been bound by so much fear. I still have areas I struggle with, but nothing like before praise God!

      And thanks for updating your info. I appreciate that. I’ve lost a lot of traffic with the move, but in time, it will be worth it. I love the added features of WP.

  7. Oooh, this is so good. Last year God gave me a verse and blew my socks off with what He did. So this year I asked Him for another verse but He instead gave me two words…STAND FIRM. Can’t say I understand where He’s going with it but can say I trust Him completely. So, here’s to 2011 and what HE has for all of us.
