Heaven on earth for the garden and flower lover in me.
Streetside live entertainment in Victoria, BC. My husband was picked out of the crowd to help him with his tricks. Fifteen minutes of entertainment for the me and the kids watching him there. I recorded the whole show. He performed for 30 minutes.
More live entertainment.
Spotted the whles from a watching watching boat tour.
Visited a castle in Victoria, BC.
Hannah’s dream came true. She saw dolphins in person at the Vancouver Aquaruim.
Gearing up for our two hour speed ride! Fun!
My son Justin sporting his stuff.
We stopped by a few islands full of seals.
Beautiful views from this boat. Love lighthouses. We saw Harrison Ford’s place and went by the most expensive property in BC. 15 to 20 million dollar homes. Crazy!! Why not dig water wells in Africa with some of this money and save lives?
We went to a BC football game in the dome. Left at half time to go to the IMAX U2 3D concert.
Hannah and Justin just had to use some of their spending money on cotton candy.
This is the building the IMAX is in. We saw two films there two days in a row.
Alta Lake. We spent the day here, relaxing, playing frisbee, swimming and having lunch from a great deli. We saw a bald eagle fly overhead and the black bear that came too close for comfort.
Three crazy girls wanting that perfect photo with this sweet bear. Ha.
The famous black bear that wandered into a local park by Rainbow Lake in Whistler, BC
(Tried to pick some of my over 1000 photos to share with you all. This is a glimpse of our time in Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria BC. I may post more pictures later. We are home at last. Got home Thursday evening. I’m tired, have a mountain of dirty clothes to wash, but feel very thankful. What an experience! So much culture, so much beauty, and so expensive. I can’t complain anymore about our gas prices, Canadians pay over $5.00 per gallon. Extremely grateful for Derek’s business travel points. Free flights and nights helps a ton.)

Now tell me what was the speed ride?
And the black bear. Well we have them here in the Appalachian mountains, but I’ve not seen one THAT big.
It looks like you had so much fun.
I’m glad you are back. I missed you!

You must have a professional grade camera to take shots like that. I love the pix of the gardens, especially the one with the waterfall, you and Hannah.
What a refreshing vacation…now back to the real world.

You’ve been missed.
I just got home last night from a week away celebrating our 30th.
You look so beautiful sitting in that garden with your daughter, and I love the picture of you smiling in that red outfit.
You are so pretty Tiffany, inside and out!!
Still praying for you, I promise to get that email I owe you out soon.
Hubby will be leaving again for 3 weeks, so I’ll lots of time at night to write.
