Thanks in All Circumstances

My posts this week will be extra short because of Thanksgiving break. My kids are home. 🙂

Ever wonder what God’s will is for your life?

Here’s one clear answer I’ve found.

Pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus, 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18(NIV).

We don’t need to know all of the answers. We just need to talk with God throughout our day and express thanks. Mind you, this is NOT out of religious duty, but rather out of our love relationship with God. We get to walk and talk with God each day. We can come boldly to His throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

Do you believe God is pleased with you?

I believe He is. Jesus already paid the price for everything you have and will ever do.
Embrace His perfect love today.

He is for you!

  2. AMEN! Great reminder.

    Those who say they don't know the specifics of God's will so that they do nothing are missing the point. It's an easy one for all of us to buy into if we aren't careful. We all have to work from what we do know, and verses like this one, we do know!

  12. I am so glad I can talk to God at any time and any place and He hears me and understands despite my babble! Thanks for the reminder that thanksgiving should be part of our daily talk with God.
