Today I am thankful for:
* my fear of heights leaving. I couldn’t believe I could walk across a suspension bridge while video taping and stopping to look over the sides at a river below. God is healing my fears. And boy, if you only knew how fearful I’ve been. This is a miracle!
* encouragement and love from blogging friends. So many of you minister to me every time I blog. I love it that we are now friends who email back and forth and even talk on the phone.
* my kids’ friendships. I find such joy watching and listening to my teenage son make silly music videos and hearing my preteen daughter play school(she’s the teacher teaching her friends, of course).
* my husband who forgives me. I felt hormonal during part of our vacation and used my tongue to bite. When I asked for forgiveness, he forgave me and apologized too.
* my garden. I didn’t plant many annuals this year, but most of my perennials are blooming. I love the color they bring to my world–and the birds and butterflies too.
* my home. On vacation, we drove through downtown Vancouver a couple times past many homeless people. Thanks to directions from our GPS system. What oppression we saw! I felt sick and prayed for these people. Coming home, I felt extra grateful for my house with more than enough food and water and furnishings and clothes.
* freedom. One of my favorite words! I finally feel free from my past shame. Trying to explain how this feels is beyond words. God is faithful to cries for help.
* America and our foundation of faith. After visiting Canada, I realized even more how blessed we are to have God as a part of our heritage, our money, our national anthem, our flag symbolism and so on. Our Christian roots make me thankful.
Okay, I could keep going as usual. I feel truly thankful everyday, not just on Thursdays. Inside me a fountain of gratitude bubbles and overflows. I know it’s His Spirit that fills me. Thank you, Lord!

Your words are so encouraging! I'm so delighted in your bubbling gratitude! I'm aMazed that Canada
sounds as bad as the poverty here.

Hey Girlfriend!!
I’m sure thanking God for my very SPECIAL blogging friends too, especially the one I emailed yesterday.
We had such a nice time sharing our hearts. God is so good…
I was so blessed to read about your deliverance of fear. I had a similar experience, just YESTERDAY!!
Since I moved last year I developed a fear of driving on the interstate. (WILD)
When Alicia’s taught at our church she asked 7 questions the first night. One of them was “Have you taken an alliance with fear?” I went up to the altar and confessed this to God and I got SET~FREE!!
Praise GOD for freedom!!
It’s such a delight to watch you blossom.
Blessings to you my faithful friend♥

Suspension bridge? I don’t know about that one! Besides fear of heights (which is getting better), if the bridge would sway I’d get dizzy!
I’m so glad you had a wonderful vacation. Bless your thankful heart.

Tiffany, Praise God for your freedoms…I am right there with you. I actually climbed to the top of our windmill last fall to cut the bittersweet down…The view was spectacular. Funny thing-it was a windy day too, the fan-like metal wheel was whipping around and I was up there with my arm wrapped around the bar and my other one cutting and pulling…
I still cant believe I did it, but what wonders are awaiting the other side of fear!!!
Praising with you!!
