I’m still so thankful today for the Free To Be Me bloggers’ retreat. This week I’ve been basking in what God did last weekend. I still cannot put words to my experience yet. It was too much. Hearts connected. Sisterhood bonds. Powerful prayer. Laughter and more laughter. Tears and more tears. Joy and more joy. Beautiful hearts, beautiful country. LOVE. Praise the Lord! He is good.
I cannot believe I didn’t take many people pictures. I need to copy some from the gals who did. I tried to focus in on new friends without my camera flashing. I did well except now I’m wishing I took more to show y’all. I’ll copy some and share soon on Facebook. (My blog gets bogged down when I post too many pics here.)
Here’s a sweet sign I saw in the Waco gift shop that reminds me of all my Southern friends.
(hopefully if you click on this picture it’ll be bigger and you can read what it says)
Another thankful: It’s snowing. Today is the 2nd day of no school. SNOW DAYS! We are loving the break from the busyness of life. It’s beautiful. And the best part is we are warming back up to about 60 degrees and sunny on Saturday. We love the snow as a sweet change that melts away fast. I’ll post some snow pictures on Facebook later today.

Tiffany, I love that sign you photographed. I'm so glad the retreat was so good for you. I've been checking for any updates and photos on the blogs. Just reading the posts causes me to smile. I loved watching Lisa's video of her preaching. Wow; she was on fire and I loved it! Preach on sister Lisa; LOL.
Hugs,
Debbie
PS. It's in the 60s in Phoenix today and everyone is trying to stay warm. LOL. I think you understand.

Hey Tiffany,
Thanks for giving us a quick glimpse of your weekend.
I love when you said you didn't want to be "flashing your camera". I do that many times, and think, hmmmm, does she think I'm crazy or what?
You are just precious in every way.
Enjoy your snow day, I long for one.
Blessings to you♥

I love the words on this sign, and it describes beautifully two of my gal friends who live in Texas.
Your retreat sounds delightful.
I am thus far resisting joining Facebook, so hope when you have processed the retreat you will post a photo or two here.
It sounds like a true spirit lifter.

Tiffany, I have seen many pics from the retreat on some of the other ladies blogs. It looks like you all had a wonderful time. God is binding hearts for sure! It is a beautiful thing!
You are already on snow day #2? Wow! I bet you are kind of glad about that so that you can spend some extra time with your kids after you got back from the retreat.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your week and the weekend,
Christy

Snow! How exciting!

Great thankful post…I have the same dilemma as you at gatherings…take a bunch of pictures to make the memories last, or spend my time focusing on the people…sometimes it is hard to balance the two…
The sign is too cute…and the absolute truth, ya'll!

Hi Tiff,
Girl, you have been so on my heart and in my prayers. First, I LOVED the zebra butt story… Awesome.
Second, I read that plaque in the store. Duh, I wish I had thought to take a photo. Glad you did.
Third, I am soooo thankful for you. We are bonded with a deep eternal friendship… I have so much to share with you.. with everyone who prayed. But, God is still working the details, so I will wait. But it's gonna be good.
Love you a ton. Lynn
