Father God, thank You for another beautiful Colorado day. Thank You for creating the seasons: winter, spring, summer and fall. I love fall. Thank You for my five senses, sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch. Thank You for a yummy dinner I had out with my son and his girlfriend. They are precious.
Thank You for designing man and woman in Your image. It amazing me to know You want intimacy with everyone You created. Over 6 billion people. No one person is invisible or insignificant to You. There are NO nobodies in Your eyes. Only somebodies. More valuable than gold or silver, precious in Your sight. Significant.
Thank You, LORD, for giving us free will and inviting us into Your family and for never giving up on us when we wander off. Thank You for the creative ways You choose to show Yourself to us day after day.
Your love goes the distance–always.
God, You are worthy of all my attention. You are the One I worship. Lead me in spirit and truth. You are my healer, my redeemer and friend. I look to You for answers to my life questions. And when there are no answers, I trust You.
Thank You for Your Word which guides me. Thank You for the Holy Spirit that comforts, corrects and convicts me. Keep my heart soft and sensitive enough to hear You through the noise and busyness of my day. I need Your wisdom. I have none on my own.
I do believe, help me with my unbelief.
I lift up the needs of our nation. We need revival. We need leadership who seeks Your face for wisdom. Please LORD, be merciful to us. Thank You for the blessing of resources in America. Teach us how to be wise stewards of our money, time and talents. Help us share like the early church modeled. More and more generosity in our hearts.
Break our hearts for what breaks Yours. No more lukewarmness. No more apathy, only beautiful brokenness and love in action. Only You can create in us a deep love for ALL people. Only You can give us the desires of Your heart for ALL humanity. Let us see the needy and be moved to serve. No effort is too small. No prayer unheard.
Again I pray for those suffering silently, ashamed and helpless. The precious girls and boys who are trapped in human trafficking. Please LORD rescue them and restore their dignity. Break down the plans of those who are evil. Rise up an army of people who will fight for them, who will go for them. Do not let our voices be silenced.
Instead together may our voices shoot straight through the darkness and may the light of Your love shine brightly. Give us courage to face these giants so that those who are hopeless will see Jesus.
Remind us no weapon formed against us will prosper. We are victorious because of Christ.
I lift up my friends with cancer. I lift up those waiting for test results. I lift up those with chronic illnesses. Be their strength and their song. Encourage them to fight and believe for healing.
I lift up my loved ones who need healing, physically, emotionally and/or spiritually.
I lift up those who are in between jobs. Move mountains and provide for them. Meet their daily needs of food, clothing, shelter, and love.
I lift up my friend’s husband who was burned and electrocuted on the job. Please help him with his pain and heal his wounds. Comfort him and his family. Give them hope during their time of need.
As for me, LORD, it’s been an interesting week. I’ve had much joy and even daily tears. Through it all I give You praise. I’m forgiven, set free and loved. I am safe in Your hands. Take my life and shape it according to Your master plan. Mold me. Make me. I’m all Yours. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
To join our blog hop, we post every Friday through Sunday. Join anytime by following these 4 steps.
1. Write your Sweet P’s blog post, which is You WRITING A PRAYER, PETITION or PRAISE to God. It’s NOT asking for prayer. It’s writing prayer.
2. Grab the Sweet P’s code on my sidebar to add to your post.
3. Come back and add your blog link to blog hop. As you are able, please visit other Sweet P’s and agree with them in prayer.
4. Grab “get the code” for the blog hop and paste inside your post. This allows you to access the blog hop list from your own blog.
(Had to delete link because it didn’t work anymore after I switched to WP. Sorry)

(You know that your petition in your heartfelt prayer is my heart cry:
"Again I pray for those suffering silently, ashamed and helpless. The precious girls and boys who are trapped in human trafficking. Please LORD rescue them and restore their dignity. Break down the plans of those who are evil. Rise up an army of people who will fight for them, who will go for them. Do not let our voices be silenced."
Amen! Amen! Amen!
I added your blog to the Blog Hop or else people may not realize that they should start here since you use the hop.
I have a very special prayer petition at the end of mine!
I love your heart and I'm so sorry
for your friend's husband and the other loved ones you are lifting in prayer. Thank you for lifting up so many needs! Thank you for God's umbrella over all our friend's cancer & chronic illnesses; visible & invisible! May God move all the mountains and straighten the crooked roads. May He make the hills low & the rough ways smooth for you and your future plans & desires! (your WFW)
Love, prayers, and hugs,
Peggy
