Lord God Almighty, thank You for seasons of life. Thank You for the beautiful sunrises and sunsets and the colors of fall. Thank You for the white blanket of snow we had this week. Thank You for the sunshine that is melting it away and watering the grass and trees. Thank You for the joy I have because Your Spirit lives in me.
Today I pray for my sweet friend, Scoti who is grieving the loss of her son. Be her strength during this time. Comfort and wrap Your arms around the family during this time. Be with his wife and two young daughters and his brother. Thank You for Kristoffer’s heroism and his life of service. I trust He is safe in Your arms forevermore.
I pray for a pastor friend of mine who has liver cancer. You have a good plan for his life. You know and love him always and for that I praise You. He is Your son. Be his comforter and his healer. I pray for wisdom for the doctors and for his treatment. I pray for pain relief and complete healing and for any fear to flee. Reveal more of Your love to him, his family and church during this difficult time. Thank You for his faithful service to the body of Christ.
I also pray for Katie, a 15 year old with stage 4 cancer. Someone I don’t even know, but someone who has the same cancer my brother once had. Please, God, come quickly. Do what only You can do, heal her if it is Your will. Suffering is so hard to understand. I don’t even know how to pray. Make a way for this precious life. Comfort her and her loved ones as they wait on You.
Father God, You are close to the brokenhearted, the lonely, the lost, the hurting. Thank You.
And Lord, I need Your words as I prepare to speak next Tuesday to a group of women about spiritual winters. Grant me eyes and ears to see and hear You clearly. Not my ideas, Your truths. Please pour Your love into me so that I can give that love to all who are present. May they see You, not me. May they be drawn to Your face and Your embrace. You are worthy. You are there for us during all seasons of our lives. Thank You.
Blessed be the name above all names. Jesus.
Amen.

AMEN!
Lord, I stand together with Tiffany and these prayer needs. Although I don’t know them, You do and You have each one in the palm of Your hand. Be their Comforter, be their Healer, be their Strength and Wisdom, surround them with Your Love! Lessen their pain and suffering! Be glorified as we ask according to Your will.
Be with Tiffany as she prepares and at this women’s event. Bring her confidence and flow through her with Your Words not hers. Let Your thoughts be Tiffany’s thoughts! Yes, Lord… let them hear You and be drawn to Your embrace, Your loving face… in the winters of our lives. Thank You for Tiffany’s heart and prayer. Love on her and shed Your Light, wisdom, guidance, protection and Your everlasting Grace!
(Tiffany, I posted a link to here at Lighthouse of Prayer) late today. May I post your prayer there in the comments of October Prayer Requests? God be with you.
Love and many blessings and prayers,
Peggy
