Father God, what an amazing week You’ve blessed me with. What joy it was to see You show up in jail on Sunday. Thank You for allowing me to be a part of this much needed ministry to those behind bars, Youth for Christ Ministries. Troubled youth need hope just like the rest of us do. We’ve ALL fallen short of the glory of God.
Thank You for giving me a visual to hold onto when I can’t carry my camera inside the building. I can still see the young girl sitting next to me weeping as the other nine girls and four adults sat in a circle. She broke when wee closed our time by singing In Christ Alone. In that moment I witnessed a heart miracle. Proof that You came near. You are good. You care deeply about prisoners.
LORD Jesus, thank You for the courage to share my abuse experience. This has been a long road we’ve walked together. So many lies I believed. Thank You for never leaving me on the curb. Instead You’ve always picked me up, dusted me off and carried me to safety.
And even when I chose to run, You waited patiently for me to return. Even from a distance Your eyes spoke love and mercy. Never blame or shame. Your strong embrace melted my heart. I felt Your love and tenderness anew.
Thank You for caring about the broken places of my heart enough to wound me all over again. The pain of my raw, exposed wound caused me to come closer to You. You are my great Physician. I found healing –deeper still. You are my Healer. I can trust You with ALL of me. Past, present and future. You watch over me as I sleep. You monitor my progress and treat me like a princess. I appreciate being held by you. I don’t fear Your touch, I crave it. You satisfy me like no one on earth can. You are gentle but strong.
I am so unworthy of your goodness and grace. Who am I that You would be mindful of me?
I spent more than half my life wandering in the world and found nothing but dead ends and despair. It wasn’t until I surrendered my life back to You that I found hope again. Hope is amazing. And to think it’s only getting better and brighter as I age because I am closer to seeing You face to face. The beautiful hope of heaven. A place where love reigns. Where bride and bridegroom become one. Jesus, You and I.
Father God, there are so many people who need You. One person who comes to mind is your precious daughter, Elaine. Bring healing and perfect peace for her journey. She’s Your girl. Your eye is always on her. So is Your smile. Be with her family too. Cover them with comfort and rest and even laughter. Nothing is too hard for You. Come quickly, LORD.
I lift up all the bloggers who feel called to write online. Equip them with anointed words. Speak to them intimately so they can write from the overflow of being with You, Jesus. Guide their steps. Point out any hidden traps. Pour passion and creativity into Your sons and daughters. Use us for such a time as this.
Remind us we are ALL significant. No two alike. No one is bigger or better in Your eyes. We are ALL the apple of Your eye. As bloggers help us remember we are not in competition with one another. But rather we are teamed up together, on Your side. Please don’t let us get caught up in numbers. Instead give us servants’ hearts who are willing to go the distance with You.
Because people matter. (here’s a list of prayer needs among us)
We must not bury our talents any longer. We must learn to multiply them. Please teach us, LORD.
Teach us how shine like the North Star at midnight.
Teach us how to love like You do. Freely.
God, You know I could keep praying and rambling like I do in my journal. There’s so much ground to cover. So many needs. So much praise. It’s hard to stop because I find such satisfaction in talking with You. I enjoy listening too but lately I’ve been distracted. Busy-brained. Help me tune out the sounds of others and hear You clearly so I can follow You today.
Forgive me for the times I follow me before You. Forgive me when I choose pride over humility. Uproot any bitterness, resentment or jealousy I’ve held onto this week. Forgive me for wasting time on what doesn’t matter. I hate meaningless days.
The beautiful thing is today is another new day. A day of new mercies. A day to stop, look and listen for the sweet ways You will say “I love you. Do not be afraid. I am with you. Come and follow Me.”
Father God, we want to discover You in all we do: Work, play, rest. Be with us. We need You.
I need You. Now and forever. I really need You.
In Jesus name, Amen

Tiffany, I love how you have this day of prayer. What a beautiful prayer you wrote out too. Thank you for your words about bloggers. What you wrote is so true. We are not in competition but hope to use the message the Lord has given each one of us. And I have been so burdened for Elaine. What a precious blogging friend she is. May we all join together in prayer for her as she journies through this season of health challenges.
Blessings and love,
Debbie

Hi Tiffany,
Thank you so much for pouring your heart out for so many; particularly for me. As a fellow blogger I confess that I don't seek to compete with others, some plant, some water but God gives the increase.
It's easy for me to get caught up in competition but I know the Lord has a purpose for my writing that isn't about my ego or being competitive.
I don't want to do this for the attention of others, I'm not recruiting followers, that's not my reason for being in this forum. If I should ever strive for the attention craving of my ego, I pray the Lord cease my desire to write.
Thank you for a prayer which checked my ego at the door, it will keep me focused on why I'm blogging and whom I'm blogging for.
Bless you Tiffany

Tiffany, I couldn't help but praise our God as I read your prayer today. As the others have said, I appreciate the prayers for fellow bloggers. There's room enough at the table for each of His sons and daughters. May we do the assignment He's called each of us to individually. We each benefit from the other's gift. I'll have to check out your testimony when I have a little bit more time. God bless you.

AMEN! amen and well said…amen.
Sweet, honest and open prayer from your heart Tiffany, one that glorifies Our King & gives Him all the honor & glory due Him alone!
He is all that we need…you will
be so touched when you see how I flow from you and then pray for a mighty tough issue that's embedded in our hearts!
Yes, precious sister, it is ALL about Him, praise and glory!
Now I was ready to just ramble into another prayer…but I paused and just let me verbally pray, praise here and write few words in your space.
I am only linking my personal blog once… and yet I want to point out that THE LIGHTHOUSE of PRAYER has
our dear sister Elaine & others like her that we should not overlook…'cuz WE ARE THE BODY, gifted and meant to serve as ONE
(OK girl, now I gotta hold back teaching & preaching wants to air).
God is not finished with us yet and on SEPTEMBER 1st there is a CALL TO PRAYER for 40 days by the NRB (National Religious Broadcasters)
Let us humble ourselves, for WE are each & corporately, called by HIS NAME, to pRAY, SEEK HIS FACE & TURN FROM OUR WICKED WAYS so that WE WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN, SO HE WILL HEAL OUR LAND & FORGIVE US OF OUR SIN!

Sweet Sis,
I am too blessed to hear of your ministry in Colo. I want to learn more. I am also in ministry in Texas. That is what I wrote about today. I am praying for you and for the others who step up and stepping out to share God's love to the young and hurting youth. I know how hard it is. I know how hard it is to share this ministry especially when you aren't able to put a face with the need. I pray that God will reveal himself to all these precious children through you and the others committed to them. Thanks for sharing this today and thank you for opening up the opportunity through the 3P's for us all to share our prayers with each other. May your weekend be Blessed. And may your ministry and all the kids feel God's love.
Love in Him,
Sherry

Tiffany,
I found myself thanking God and rejoicing right along with you in this prayer…rejoicing over your courage to share this past week; thanking Him for patiently waiting until you were ready…even during the times you wanted to run the other way.
I so love your heart and your willingness to obey Him and follow His leading…eventually. Ha! (But, I must get back to CO for a good sit down and talk visit with you.) I know He is going to continue to use you in ways you could never imagine because of your willingness to follow and be an open vessel for Him.
Thanks for the prayer for bloggers. Sometimes, I wonder why I blog. I don't consider myself a blogger but God keeps nudging me to to do it. So, I've been trying. Seems like I just write for myself, though…still I obey. Your prayer was a great encouragement to me. I write for Him and Him alone…that's all that matters…and I will continue.

Praying for you this week too – for what God has called you to do [as you had asked]. How's that going?
Yes, people both lost ones and found ones matter to us and more so to God!
Praying with you and for you and others that have touched our lives.
