Father God,
There is something powerful about spending time at Your feet. Thank You for calling me to rest Wednesday. I so needed to be still, listen and soak in Your truth. I have been much too busy lately. I loved my time in worship, remembering who You are all over again feeds my hungry soul. You alone quench my thirst. Thank You, Jesus.
Thank You for Your Word cuts my heart and mends it at the same time. You have such a sweet way of loving me as I confess my fears, my desire to please others more than You, and my rebellious ways. Thank You for being faithful to love me no matter what. You see the depths of my heart and You still invite me closer to Yours. What grace!
Lord, I am overwhelmed with joy at what I sense is happening to Your sons and daughters. A beautiful heartache is beginning. And with our aching hearts we are able to reach out to those in need more and more. Yes, people matter most! Thank You for wounded us so that we can throw off our apathy and enter into the fellowship of the suffering with You.
By Your leading, we are beginning to wake up and see others through new eyes. Through Your eyes with compassion and sincere love. We weep for those who are suffering all over the world. We cannot be silent any longer. We must rise up and love and serve those in our local circles and beyond, to the ends of the earth. Continue to haunt us with faces that need hope. Continue to reveal the next step we must take by faith. We are scared but willing.
Our comfort zone is no longer comfortable. Praise You! Shake us please God, shake us. We need it. We need You, especially as what needs to go breaks loose.
I continue to pray for the needs of others. So many needs. Sickness and disease, financial hardships, broken marriages, hurting children, the starving, the homeless, the lonely and forgotten, the lost. Please Jesus, come and minister to each heart in need. Show each person how real You are. Touch young and old with Your unforgettable touch. Heal Your people so that we may shine Your light. Restore our land. I pray that all people will find themselves at the end of themselves, so that they experience the joy of salvation, real relationship with You.
Jesus, You are worthy of our focused attention every moment of every day. Lord, You are huge, beyond comprehension. What a mighty God You are. What a privilege we have to be called Your children.
Father what a gift we have knowing we are forever held in Your righteous right hand, never to be snatched away. Always secure, held, and loved. Praise You for our position in Christ. We are dearly loved, the apple of Your eye. Greater than gold or silver.
To know You is to really live. For that alone I cannot stop thanking You.
In Jesus name, Amen

Great prayer, Tiffany. I pray for some of these same needs in the world, too. Sometimes we can feel helpless, and there isn't much WE can do to change the situation. But the power of prayer can often work things beyond our limited abilities.
Keep praying!
