Lord Jesus, I don’t even know where to start. It’s a new year. A new beginning. Oh how I love the word new. Thank You that through You I am made new. The old is gone, the new has come. I’m washed clean. Set free. Completely made new.
Praise You.
God, it’s hard to know where to start in prayer for a new year, but I pray Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. I pray Your people will raise up, stand up, and speak of Your great love to a world in great need. I pray we will be a people who serve more and complain less. I pray we will go the distance for Your namesake.
I pray Your healing touch on those in need. Restore their bodies, renew their minds. Give them hope for today. A reason to keep on keeping on. Shine Your light so bright that they feel the warmth of it.
I pray we will respond with a “Yes, Lord’ when You invite us to join You. I pray we will really believe You. Trusting You completely for the outcome as we do our part. Yes, we have a part. Action is required.
I pray for wandering sons and daughters, may 2011 be the year they turn back to You. Holy Spirit, create a burning fire within them. Consume them with Your love.
May Your people all over the world become a living example of sacrificial love all because we know You intimately.
Abba Father, I want to know You more in 2011 than I did in 2010. I want to walk closer to You. I want to listen to Your heartbeat, feel Your heartbreak for the hurting, and respond immediately because of love. May Your love compel me. Nothing else, only Your pure, satisfying, thirst-quenching love.
Sweet Jesus, You are my first love. The only love I know that never fails or ends.
God, pour more love on us this year. Start a revival in hearts. Flood us with Your presence. Make Yourself known. Change our hearts. Create in us a hunger and thirst for righteousness, holiness and obedience. Keep us on the straight and narrow path that leads to life. Keep us from evil.
Bless us, Lord. We ask for Your blessing this year. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Hi Melanie,
Good to have you stop by. I’ve read the benefits of switching and for me it was time. I’ve wanted to switch for years actually, but never jumped. So far I am loving the freedom and extra options. It’s easy to comment below the person for direct contact. Also I wanted more options to change things around. Add pages. It’s more professional. There are many benefits. 🙂

I could give you a lot more. 🙂
Hope all is well with you.
Happy 2011
