Father God, thank You for the gift of peace. Peace of mind. The peace of Your presence. Perfect peace in any storm. Peace that passes all understanding.
Thank You, Jesus, for being my Prince of Peace.
Lord, I pause to pray for those who have no peace right now. Especially those who are sinking in despair and feeling hopeless. People in hard circumstances. Nations in chaos and war. Lonely hospital rooms. Wherever those without peace are, come quickly Jesus. Show Yourself faithful. You are mighty to save. You are healer and peace maker.
Please come and pour peace into their hearts today. Cause them to sense Your whisper. Minister to them in their time of need, especially when the weight of the world in on their shoulders. Remind them You will gladly carry their burdens. That’s what You do, because You, Lord, are perfect, unfailing love.
Breathe new hope into every fiber of their being. Give those without peace strength to get out of bed, eat and drink, and take care of the body You gave them. Send forth sweet reminders of Your grace.
Somehow, some way, move quickly. I believe there are lives hanging in the balance today. Please God hear my prayers. Grab the hopeless and bring them close to Your chest. Let them hear the sound of Your heartbeat and calm their anxious hearts. Hold them until they sense Your peaceful presence.

You make my life peaceful. I cannot thank You enough for peace because I have lived without peace and it was dark, scary and overwhelming. Thank You for finding me and offering me the gift of peace.
