What happens when we stop, look and listen to what God might be trying to say?
God recently reminded me to “STOP RUNNING” from His call. Nothing like running shoes hanging from a red light to remind me of how ridiculous that is.
Are you running too? Mind if I encourage you from God’s word?
Galatians 5:7-8Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Hebrews 12:1
Father God, You are so good. Thank You for loving me and showing me your grace each day. Thank You for visual truth to “stop running”. I’m tired of danging on a thin wire of unbelief. It’s time believe, put on my shoes and feel some solid ground again. Lord, I’m willing to run with You. If You lead, I will follow. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

PS I’m starting a new meme this week. Maybe even tomorrow, I’d love it if you will peek back and maybe even join me. ๐ It’s called Sweet P’s!

Oh, when God paints the picture so loud and so clear that all you can say is "yes, Lord I will obey…"

"Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth?"
Mercy, that question quickly cut my heart to the core. I've read it before, lots of times, but in this season of life, it couldn't have come at a better time.
Thanks for sharing it with me.

The first thing I thought of was I would like to shed my running shoes, too, but only because I prefer to run my race barefoot!
I'll be back to see what your new meme is!
BTW the capcha for my comment is "movar" which I read "move her."
Denise says
Amen, thanks for sharing sis. I will be back to join you for your new meme, looking forward to it. I love you.

This goes so along with my Priests Homily from yesterday. He talked about how in our life we get so busy that our bodies outrun our souls. That we need to take time to stop and let our souls catch up. Instead of grumbling about the person in front of us who is taking a long time in the grocery line, take the few extra moments to be grateful and say a prayer. Wow, what an 'aha' moment that was for me. Thank-you for the reminder!
