“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19
I love how the Holy Spirit reminded me of the Word as I watched this young man fish along the shore this morning.
Thank You, Jesus, first for the invitation to come and follow You. Me, I’m invited! What a privilege. And second, thank You for a job to do: to fish for men(souls). I’m throwing my line into Your waters, praying for a big catch for Your namesake. Help me not grow weary in the waiting. Remind me to choose the right bait: kindness, gentleness, goodness, peace, joy, and above all, love. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Flying back home to the mountains this afternoon. Sure loved the beach, loved the time away with my husband. Today is our 18th anniversary! What a sweet getaway. Thankful the owner Derek works for is so generous to pay my way while Derek is on business. I feel refreshed by the waters of God’s amazing grace and love. But I miss my kids!!

And to find out who I met yesterday while staying in Melbourne: visit Kim at Homesteaders Heart for our moments of fun and pics to prove it. Kim and Kathy treated me like one of the girls. They fed me chocolate and made me laugh. I felt right at home!

You know what's funny. Is I believe the young man in the picture is our neighbor J.J.! LOL.
It was so nice meeting you Tiffany and I'm so glad you felt right at home.
Maybe our paths will cross again someday since you are going to be coming back 3 more times real soon! LOL
Hugs.

Kim,
That is funny! When I take pics of strangers like this, I try to make sure you can't identify them easily. That's why I took the pic of his back/side view. And that's also why I took the pic with him being mostly shadowed. Looks like you caught me. LOL
Tell him he looked like a pro out there. 🙂

Tiffany, congratulations on 18 years! How beautiful! 🙂 It was sooooo fun meeting you, and I'm glad we didn't frighten you too much by sucking right into our world without even a moments notice, LOL. I'm so glad to have made another "face to face" blog friend.
P.S. That does look like J.J., lol.

Tiffany,
First of all have a wonderful blessed and loving 18th anniversary celebration with your husband. May God continue to bless both of you in this covenant together.
I love this picture of the fisherman. I love how we are suppose to be out there being fishers of men, and God can take care of cleaning them.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat

So, so well "said," Tiffany. Your picture and words drive my own call to follow Him deeper and make it clearer!
