The article I recently wrote for Ungrind.org is live today. Feel free to read Speak No Evil.
Why is it I learn life the hard way? My mouth used to be my source of power. A mighty weapon. I’m learning to love lifegiving words more than destructive ones.
Words matter.
As a communicator, I’m constantly aware of mine. I still fail from time to time and I pray my words and heart are fueled by love.
A well spoken word can melt a hard heart.
Lord, help me speak no evil.

Tiffany, thank you for visiting me today. I came by to see you and your blog has just lifted my spirits and left me feeling so light. Thank you.
Your wonderful thoughts on Saturday’s post were great. And I enjoyed the pics of Steamboat Springs. I was up very early on Easter Sunday too. It is one of my favorite days to rise early. I always ponder the early walk the Marys had when they went looking for Jesus and found the empty tomb.
The bridge video was very powerful. So much to comment on!
Thanks for introducing yourself. I enjoyed my visit very much.

Tiffany,
Thank you for the link to your article. I read it and it was a reinforcement of what God is doing in me. I, too, feel God holding me to a high standard of speech (and communication in general) and it can be painful as he teaches me to conform to his perfect will in this. But as you pointed out, though he crushes us as an act of love, he restores us as well. Amen!
I just had to let you know also that as a fellow tea drinker, we must be soul sisters! I read a quote recently by CS Lewis: “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.” I’m so down with that!
But, I digress. The real reason I stopped by was to let you know that you won the drawing for the book Red Letters by Tom Davis. Please email me at kickingitincrazyville@gmail.com with the address you want me to send it to. Congratulations! This book has so impacted my heart and I’m sure it will be a blessing to you as well.
God bless you,
Reese

So true Tiffany. Joyce Meyer has a good book called, Me and My Big Mouth, it is great!
Also, I was thinking of the scripture where Jesus tells us that everything can be tamed but the human tongue. Pretty strong when I stop and think about it. I am responsible for what comes out of my mouth and I pray that it would only be for God’s glory and special touches to my sisters and brothers in Christ.
Love,
Paulette
