If I were to peek through the window of your heart, what would I see?
Pause for a minute and survey the area.
Are you okay with what you see or would you prefer to tidy things up a bit first?
The truth is I want to see the real you, not the one you want me to see.
I’m okay with a mess because I’m a mess too.
The truth is you will never be truly known and loved if you keep hiding. To experience real relationships we have to be real with one another, right? And to me, it’s seems like it’s getting harder and harder to find real people who want real relationships. Why is that? I’m guessing because we aren’t okay being our messy ourselves. We want to look all put together. We don’t want our dirty dishes or our dust bunnies to show. But in life there will always be things undone.
Are you okay with the undone you?
Because I am.
You living the real, undone you encourages me to live as the real, undone me.
I believe God has a good plan to use the real, undone you right now.
Someone in this dark world is looking for a little light.
By chance, is that light YOU?
Shine, friend.
Open that window of your heart and be seen, known and loved.
“No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.” Luke 8:16

A good word for me today! Aside from dealing w/some insecurities today and yesterday, I looked down a little while ago and noticed that I have been wearing my shirt inside out all day! Talk about a mess in more ways than one.

Melanie, I’m so glad I’m not the only one who wears a shirt the wrong way. I say it’s a new style, esp. if you wear it with a smile! 🙂 Can’t wait to meet you next month. God is on the move and we are following.

Love this post, Tiffany! I’m a mess, but a redeemed mess in process. Wish you lived closer, we could pull our messy selves up to the table of some coffee house and praise God together for His healing, restoring touch!
Love and blessings to you, sweet one!

I love this quote that illustrates what you so wonderfully expressed: “People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.”—Elizabeth Kübler-Ross

Tiffany…I love this post. It reminds me that God sees and loves the real me, even when I don’t. Lately I am struggling to be a better me. Maybe I should let me be me and rest in the Lord, and let Him make the changes! Lori
