Sifting through old journals is truly a gift to my weary spirit. As a listener, I’ve penned God’s still small voice for years now. Rereading His words bless me again and again.
Here’s an entry I feel led to share with you today. I pray someone is encouraged by these words of hope.
(Words I heard from the Holy Spirit, 4-30-08)
“Sweet one, hear Me. I haven’t left you. Noise doesn’t separate us. Busiest doesn’t separate us. Love binds us together, like a rope, we are intertwined. Do not fear the next step. Follow My lead. Continue looking and listening and we’ll get through this together. Keep up, don’t lag behind. Don’t run ahead. Track with me. Pace with me. Step by step, we will make it to the promised land where freedom abounds and abundance is plenty. Where new wine is served. Where rivers of living water flow. Where trees grow strong and birds rest on their branches. Where peace and love reign. Where mountains melt and rocks sing. Where you soar free.”

Tiffany,
Aren't journals amazing? You get a birds eye look back at just how God was speaking to your heart at that very moment in time, and here it is once again, speaking to you at just the right moment in time.
I know I myself, needed to hear it, as I find myself restless in bed, reading journals and blogs and find contentment in this time.

I love this "pace with me" and "one step at a time". Oh how true those words are yet how often have I sped ahead and wondered why I got into trouble? Thanks for sharing your journal entry with us. I too love to journal and find little jewels as I reread lessons learned.

I love looking back at my journals and see where the Lord has taken me and also where I should have allowed Him to guide me.

I'm so happy you visited my blog and will truly enjoy reading yours. I too am amazed when I read old journals, as I just did yesterday while preparing a study for a group of college girls. I thought, "that was the still small voice of Gods Spirit, it sure couldn't have come out of me!"
I appreciate your beautiful encouraging words, whispered to your ears by our wonderful King and friend. See you again soon!

These words spoke to me as I tend to do exactly that!Race ahead of God, trying to find the solutions without him.

As a fellow journal keeper you will feel my personal loss when I tell you that my ex-husband, who was abusive, declared that I had not existed before he met me, took all my journals kept from the age of 16 to 28 and burned them in a bonfire in the woods. I never did get over that fragility of words on paper and have not kept an active journal since. I think you may have just inspired me to begin again

Beautiful words from the Lord. I loved your video too. It made me think more about the cost of going deep. I have been struggling to fast over the last several years, a few times the Lord has given me the grace to do it. I am now reading a book by Jentezen Franklin called Fasting that is renewing my understanding of the value of receiving intimacy with God as a result of foregoing food. Loving the book and loving the freedom from the need to eat…
Again, beautiful encouragement! Keep doing the videos too, you look relaxed and have inspirational messages.
Love ya!
