As an active listener of God, I often pen what I sense Him speaking to my heart. Because of this, I have journals and journals of His words to me. They are a lifeline to my faith walk. Essential to keeping me on the right track. But not to be compared to the Bible. Obviously, what I hear could have errors unlike the Word.
This morning I’m asking God about my blog. Should I answer another question today? Nope, not today. I sense I’m supposed to share a word He gave me a couple days ago. May it speak to you in a way only God can.
“It’s time. Time to put off the old. Quit wearing your torn, stained clothes. Throw them into the fire. Burn them. Come and receive new. I have a custom designed wardrobe for you, but I will not make you wear them. You must dress yourself. Why are you clinging to what you think still fits? It doesn’t. You are new. The old is not you.”
Tiffany!
Wow powerful message! I believe it's time for people to make the right kinds of changes in their lives to glorify God and serve Him!

Put off/Put on. We've got to do them both.
Thanks for sharing this, my friend.
Praise the LORD Tiffany for your heart to obey Him and to bless others.
I so appreciate your warm words on my blog as well. We're in this together Sister.
Love you.
I love this word. His wardrobe fits so perfectly. I've been needing to dress myself with Him lately! Thank you for sharing this–I love hearing what God is speaking!
Amen.
What beautiful words.
I love it! It's so hard to let go of our old rags — they are so worn and comfortable!
Whenever God wants to dress me in something new and beautiful, I feel like a fraud. It's because I can't see myself through His eyes.
He sees us each as priceless!
Thanks for coming to my blog. Your blog will be a blessing to me!
These four words are so powerful!
" Come and receive new."
thanks so much for this word….I needed it today!
Yes, Tiffany – this was for me too. Precious, God-inspired Word. I'm grabbing on to it! Love, Gloria
Whew! Powerful and yes Lord, I am listening. Help me Father, I am a child, I miss what you tell me often. Please help me to pick out my new clothes and dress me. Please pick me up and put me into your lap of safety and tie my shoes.
Thanks Tiffany.
Love, Paulette Harris
It doesn't speak to my heart. But I'm sure there's many it does.
Obedience to God is key however, and you're post shows that you're working had at it. Praise the Lord.
Beautiful, timely words today.
Thank you for sharing.
How timely. My daughters just helped me clean out my clothes closet. I suppose it's always easier when you have someone to help. And Jesus certainly is the best person to help me clean out my spiritual closet.
Love this! You must dress yourself. We have a choice to become who we are meant to be or not. Today I'm choosing yes!
Beautiful word, friend, beautiful word!
