LORD Jesus, You are my God. I’m so thankful to be part of Your family, the body of Christ, the holy church. Thank You for the invitation to be a part of Your love story. Thank You for the ways You have redeemed my life and continue to do so. Thank You for seeing me through the lens of love. You are amazing, endless love. You are grace. You are beautiful to me. I love and adore You.
Today I pray for the church, Your people called by Your name. I pray for all of us to hear Your voice clearly. Your word says Your sheep hear Your voice. I pray we will respond without question today. Even if it doesn’t make sense. Especially if what You say to our hearts is confirmed through Your Word.
I pray the sleeping church will wake up. So many are going through the motions and have lost that holy fire. Reignite our flame. Renew our strength. May we live passionately wherever You have planted us. With eyes wide open, ready to do Your will. This is our mission field whenever we are, in the business world, in schools, in everyday, ordinary places. Let Your light shine through us. Cleanse us so that Your love pour out of our mouths.
Give us tender words that heal broken hearts. Give us gentle hands and warm hearts.
We look to You, Lord, for our strength. In and of ourselves, we are not able to love unconditionally. We judge, covet and compare. We are selfish. We doubt. We fear. We want our own way.
God, cleanse us of all unrighteousness. No sin is too great. Even last’s night failures are not too big for You to erase. We lay down our desire to serve ourselves, and we pick up our cross and follow You.
You are God. We are Your people. Holy. Loved. Adopted. Forgiven and set free.
Father God, we want to live set apart for Your service. We want those who have yet to know You to be drawn to You through our lives of love, service and sacrifice. There is no formula for the way we can do this. We are uniquely designed by You. And I trust You will lead each of us accordingly.
In our weakness, remind us You are strong. Bigger than any obstacle.
When we feel fear, remind us of Your perfect love that casts out ALL fear.
And when we feel unworthy of Your goodness, let us hold onto the free gift of Your grace.
Equip us for the road ahead. We are soldiers, armed with the full armor of God. This life is a battlefield. We have an enemy who wants to steal our joy, kill our hope and destroy our testimony. We are tempted and tried, not we are not knocked down. In You, Jesus, we have life and life to the full here on earth. We are overcomers. We rise together, united as one, on a mission to reach and rescue those who still need hope.
Help us never forget where we came from. A place of hopelessness and depravity.
We shine the light on You today because You paid the ultimate price to set us free. We live our lives as living sacrifices in gratitude because You loved us first. Wow. Thank You. Amen.

Amen! Many churches are apathetic, fearing criticism or disapproval from others. Let churches fearlessly proclaim the Gospel to a judgmental world in need of it.
There are also a disturbing number of false teachers and prophets in the church.. They worship a private god created in their own image. Some use their positions for financial or political gain, or to sexually abuse or control others. May we never fear to stand up to these false teachers and prophets.
