Didn’t sleep well last night.
Battle for my peace is on.
I am fighting in song. Kari Jobe’s CD is up and loud!
I’m tired but praising Him anyway.
My body feels weak. My insides ache.
I’m always attacked physically when the enemy wants me down. He knows what triggers my anxiety and fears. He tries to get me to believe I am not free! He’s a liar and a thief. A real loser. I’m so thankful God has revealed this pattern to me over the last year. Now I can pray and praise my way through the winds and the rain.
This attack is no surprise with my upcoming public shouts of freedom.
Here’s what I have going on:
On Sunday, I’ve been asked to participate in a “Cardboard Sermon”at our church. I said yes. I tremble over this opportunity. Joy and expectancy invade my heart. Yet I feel fear judgment, I fear men’s opinions. But I fear God MORE. I’ve never announced my sin so publicly in my home church in front of both men and women, but it’s time. I will be holding a sign about my past abortion and on the backside I will declare God’s love and my freedom.
Then on Wednesday, April the 8th is the radio interview with Norma McCorvey, the former “Roe” from Roe versus Wade. Her story is one of redemption. I’m grateful to know God this opportunity cohost the show along with Janna Kasza.
I covet your prayers during this time of testing. I trust God with my life no matter what. I have nothing to fear. He is my strong tower and my hiding place. He is more than enough. He is my all in all, my very breath, my source of strength. Though the fierce storms hit my heart and mind, I will not be moved. I stand firm because He holds my hand. He is strong when I am weak. He carries me. I am held and secure in His arms. He comforts all my fears. HE IS!!
Praise Him with me please!

OH, my Sweet Sister! I’m SO PROUD of you for sharing what GOD has done in your life! You are right to follow GOD no matter what!
I recently posted on the language some “Christians” use on their blogs and got some VERY NASTY feedback. (The comment is still there, I’m looking into seeing if there’s a way to know who left it.. quite a few people have told me they think this person knows me personally.. kind of creepy) Anyway, the TRUTH isn’t always an easy “pill to swallow”, but GOD has called us to be HOLY because HE is HOLY.. HE’S commanded that we be DIFFERENT and not look like the world. You are doing the right thing no matter what “man” may tell you! ☺
My prayers are with you!

What amazing opportunities!!!
Tiffany says
I just prayed for you and I will continue to. I have seen the card board testimonies before, and they are moving.
Your testimony, as well as, Norma’s is quite powerful in the fight we have for Pro-Life. And yet it may be a gentle, merciful hand reaching out to someone that will see it this Sunday, letting them know they are not alone. I hope it is seen as a promise of what His love can bring you through, and that there is a joyful abundant life on the other side of this that is found only through HIM! -That’s the kind of truth that will set you free!
Until then just keep taking up the full armor of God and know that your sisters in Christ stand with you through out this next week. -Love and Blessings!

I am lifting you up in prayer with these amazing opportunities to praise God publicly. You better believe the enemy wants to shut you up but God is greater, mightier and God will stop him in his tracks when it comes to him preventing you from speaking out on this subject while giving God all the glory.
You are so right…he is a liar, thief and such a loser…the battle and war has already been won in Jesus name.
God will bless you tremendously for stepping out in faith, trusting Him to open hearts, minds and minister to so many others who have been hiding this secret in their lives…who need God’s healing in their lives. We have seen so much of this same boldness in our church over the past 5 years and it is amazing how God has moved on hearts and healed so many women and men from this very emotional scar (emotional bondage)that the enemy wants to keep them a prisoner in.
I am so proud of you! God will and already has gone before you, Tiffany. Walk in Him…He will guide your every step and give you every word to speak.
Bless you!!!

In many ways, I understand your angst about sharing your past; I also am grateful that the Lord is beginning to powerfully show me when the enemy is at hand and how to, not only expect it, but how to combat it.
Praying with you, sweet sister, as you go forth and be brave for the kingdom. It is for freedom that Christ has set you free.

I most definitely praise You Father God for setting Tiffany free! Because Your amazing grace, love and freedom looks SO beautiful lived out through her. I pray for every moment that leads up to Sunday that she is dancing in her freedom and when she walks across the stage with her piece of cardboard Lord that people see You and just how great You are! They will see the new and redeemed Tiffany the one YOU created her to be. Oh and thank Your Lord for she truly is beautiful…I love her and I know You love her even more, please help her to stay right in the middle of that love…oh that amazing love that You lavish on us! Thank You Lord for my friend…I praise You for the freedom she will display on Sunday and for the hearts that will be set free by her testimony of just how great You are. Hearts will be set free to live in the grace You have for them! I love You Lord thank You for Your precious Son who paid the GREAT price for our freedom…may we not deny it for a moment and even let the enemy snatch a second of it from us! Amen

Oh Tiffany, I will be praying for you! I have seen a video of a cardboard ministry… what a powerful thing, I would love to see one in person!
Just stay close to God, keep that praise and worship music going, and the enemy will have to flee! May God’s glory, love, and redemption be revealed more and more through your life as you seek to obey and follow Him!
You are such a blessing!
Blessings and peace!

Tiffany, I’m so glad to read that you fear God more than men. If He’s called you to share your story …then share it. I’m sure you will touch many lives. You never know if you will prevent another young girl from making that mistake. But I could also understand the fear and anxiety. I sometimes battle that too. I will pray for you Tiffany. I will pray that the Lord will use you mightily for His Kingdom purposes as you are obedient to His call.

Standing believing that what GOD has purposed for you to do you’ll walk in without fear but with Christ centered confidence as He leads and guides you along this wonderful journey you have.
God bless you.

Tiffany, God is going to bless you and honor your faith in Him! Continue to encourage yourself in the Lord. You are surrounded by prayer. God has His hand on your life. You will not fail. The enemy will be held captive against you. God has a plan for you, and you are going to know His peace and strength in every situation. So, do not fear. He will bring it to pass.
In Christ’s Love,
Andrea

Tiffany,
I just want you to know how your testimony has blessed me (abundantly!). I have been able to use your story with one who just confessed to having an abortion 15 years ago. I knew the moment she told me that God had crossed my path with yours for a very specific reason. (more than one I am sure~and I pray to meet you in person one day)
Since I never knew of her secret, I have shared with her for years (randomly) my passion for ending abortion. For years I felt a wall between us…and when she finally told me about her abortion, and that whenever I sent emails about things like the “red envelope project” it has been painful for her, I understood at least part of that wall…and I was so grateful to have read your story so I understand better the depths of the struggle to recieve the forgiveness and healing that Jesus gives. My empathy for her was more than deep…
How I long to minister to her soul…
When I spoke to the youth last Wed, I told them about losing my virginity @ 15 and my fear of pregnancy and thoughts of abortion. How easily my mind went there…Who knows if I had actually gotten pregnant what I would have done…Planned parenthood had spoken at our highschool. I knew where to find them.
Then I was able to tell them I knew of women who had gone through it and has taken years to find healing. So they can know, it is NOT just a procedure~
Be bold sister, in sharing your story for His glory…and for the deliverance of so many victims. After reading your blog, I understand that vulnerable girls are as much victims as their babies. Your light is shining far and wide. Be bold! You are beautiful!
Lord Jesus, pour out your Spirit on Tiffany and fill her with the peace that passes understanding. Thank you that when we are weak, you are strong. It is not by might, not by power, but by your Spirit!! Anoint her for the work of making you known. It is about THE PRAISE OF YOUR GLORY AND GRACE!
In Jesus’ beautiful name, Amen!
Love ya sister! He gives beauty for ashes. We are all ashes. Not one can throw a stone @ you. NOT ONE!!

You know, I saw a really cool video clip of people holding cardboard testimonies. One side of one of the signs is still in my mind — “Freedom through obedience”… it was a really neat clip. Your candidness may very well encourage others to be open about things as well. What a neat opportunity.
Jan Parrish says
Tammy, I know that you will both minister to others and experience even more freedom with your declaration – just as I am finding with my incest postings. I will be praying and I know you will experience a real freedom in this.
I feel like God is prompting me to tell you, “Well done my good an faithful servant.” Every time you tell your story, the enemy loses and God has the victory. I’ll be praying as you are truly out on the front lines.
Be Blessed.
Jan

Tiffany, I watched the Cardboard Sermon video. Those are the most most powerful testimonies of what God can do in our lives that I’ve seen in ages. Got cold chills. Cried. What an honor you have to proclaim God’s glory in your life.
B His Girl says
Tiffany,
Jesus will shine through you. Your courage and devotion to Jesus Christ will inspire MANY. The truth is ALL of our cardboard signs are not very pretty. We are ALL sinners. A very high price was paid for ALL of us to be free. Look up when you show your sign so Jesus can get a good picture of you because His eyes are going to be on you. Catch His warm smile. He loves you. You are forever His girl! Sorry I missed you earlier. I am going to call again if it is still ok. B
Angie says
Oh Tiffany—I wish I could be there! EVERY time I see a cardboard testimony video I cry. Every single time. Because I see me…and what I would hold. And what HE has done.
He has done GREAT things in YOU and HE will be glorified in YOU —through your love for HIM–and YOUR willingness to follow HIM where He directs and leads!
What a blessing you are to others…you are so much to me!

You keep on keeping on, Tiffany! The enemy wouldn’t be on the attack if you weren’t accomplishing great things for God’s kingdom. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world!

We did cardboard testimonies at our church a few months back and the witness was and still is powerful. Thank you for your willingness to be real. God will use your pain to reach others. It will be beautiful to see. We’ll want to hear how God will use these opportunities in your life and the lives of others…because He will. Thank you for being real.

Tiffany… this scripture comes to mind… Psalm 46:1&2 "God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though the waters roar and quake with their surging." Be Bold, Be Strong, for the Lord our God is with You! Blessings and Prayers, BarbaraJean
