I’ve been tagged again. Thanks, Alicia at Confessions of a Snowflake.
The rules are:
1) Link to the person who tagged you.
2) Post the rules on your blog (copy and paste 1-6).
3) Write 6 random things about yourself.
4) Tag 6 people at the end of your post and link to them.
5) Let each person know they have been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.
6) Let the tagger know when your entry is up.
Here’s my random things:
1) I always have at least 6 books near my bed or on my nightstand. Right now I have about 12. I read every night before I go to bed. I like a variety of choices depending on my mood. If I own the book, I almost always write in them and highlight them. I find many of my books at the Goodwill. Non-fiction, Christian.
2) I carry my camera everywhere I go. In a pocket inside my purse. I take pictures at stoplights, in stores, wherever. I love, love capturing life. Flowers, sunsets, faces, spiderwebs, you name it. I’m always looking for something to frame through my camera lens. Digital cameras are the best because I can take too many pictures and then delete and print accordingly.
3) I cry when I am overjoyed and when I am sad. I’m the type who will easily cry with you in the good or the bad moments of your life. Tears are a part of who I am. I used to see them as a weakness. Now I see them as necessary for me to be Tiffany. Tears make me feel alive.
4) Music is something I couldn’t imagine living without. I listen to music “loud” every day. Music touches a part of me that no man can. It heals my hurts. It causes my spirit to soar. I thank God for the gift of instruments and voices. Music is like my camera, I carry it with me! I love worship music. Well written lyrics move me.
5) Derek and I eloped in Las Vegas in 1991. We were engaged and then decided to get it done. I have no regrets. I’m not into the big wedding thing. I’m too practical. However I’d love to someday renew our vows with God’s Word as center. I am still amazed that God changed the course of our hearts. We weren’t walking with God then.
6) My journals are my price possessions. For years, I’ve been journaling my prayers. If my house were in flames, I’d want them along with my pictures and Bible. Looking back at my journals helps me see how God is answering my prayers. I see I’ve grown. Reading my old journals encourages me when my faith is weak.

We are a lot alike, I too cry easily, in the good times and the bad times. I too love to read and always have several books going, and I write and highlight in mine too! I also like to have my camera around, I would love to take photography classes… maybe someday!
I did not elope, but we have a very short engagement, only 7 weeks, and we had a nice wedding, it can be done, you do not have to have 6 months to a year to do it all!
Thanks for the tag, I will try to do it soon!
Blessings!

Tiffany…are you sure we are not related?
I have my canon purse sized camera in my purse right now….I take it everywhere.
There are six books on my side of the bed…and I get mine from our Goodwill/Hospice store or our library sale every month.
I have kept journals as long as I can remember. I started a new journal for each of my children, the very week I knew I was pregnant.
And my hubby gets annoyed at how loud I listen to music. If I am cleaning the house music inspires me. I even listen to it when I am in the shower!
