The movie October Baby 2011 starts today in selected theaters nationwide. I plan to see it again with my family since it’s spring break in Colorado.
Last month I saw the screening of October Baby and loved it. This movie is powerful, healing and redemptive. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to see “life” from a new perspective. And as a post-abortive woman and an October baby myself (now a voice for life), I see how this movie could be a springboard for those stuck in shame or secrecy after abortion. Especially in the area of forgiveness.
October Baby touches on adoption, unplanned pregnancy, abortion and life in general. All topics are handled with dignity and grace.
My prayers for this movie: For healing in the hearts that need it. For people who are pro-choice to rethink their position. For great conversations. And for God to do what only He can do.

I just read your abortion story. What courage it takes to share. I don’t have that secret but I have plenty more that have caused shame, guilt and isolation. I appreciate you (and others like you) who are willing to talk openly so we can heal together. Thanks, Tiffany.
