You know all of us love new things, new socks feel incredible the first time you put them on, new clothes, new blankets, even a new car, we love that smell.
This is a great post that we can all relate to, let us let go of the things hold us back and grab on to the things that will carry us through.

I've got a lot of things I love and I have to say as I go before the Lord in worship, especially when I'm leading the music in church, my love of other things crowds in and tries to get me distracted from my Love of God. My love of just singing, or clothes, or affirmation from my peers. In those times I thank God I can hear his voice and He draws me near. I pray for those who go through life not hearing His voice so I pray as I praise.
