I wish I could show the world what I see every day. I absolutely love taking pictures and find deep satisfaction in photography. Pictures speak what words cannot. If I had a better camera (current camera: Canon Powershot, not a DSLR), I might even create art to sell at coffee shops or art festivals.
Here’s an example of what happens when we bow down before our LORD and look up. We no longer see the dirt, bugs and weeds, instead we see beauty! Right before our eyes, life blooms.
Father God, today help me stop looking down and start looking up. There’s something beautiful You want me to see: YOU. In Jesus name, Amen

I love taking pictures also. I have a Cannon Digital Rebel XT. The camera has great features – good pictures with little work.
Your pictures are gorgeous!
Looking up today, still I pray Lord let me keep focused on you the rest of my life…

That is awesome!

I just started the Psalms Beth Moore Study last night, Stepping Up.
Her instruction for this study is for us to lie face down (or as close as we can get if not physically able) as a posture of reverence and surrender. We are supposed to do this before we do our homework each day.
Just as you pointed out, it is amazing what we can see or what we realize from this position 🙂

Lovely photo and thoughts, Tiffany.

I have the same camera – but it's not the camera – it's GOD!!! I know you agree! He gives us eyes to see His World from His view and thus – spectacular photos appear!!
Love the daisy in view of the sky!
Precious to my heart!

Tiffany,
Such rich words and in such are the wisdom of heaven. God wants us to take our eyes off of everything except for Him. When we walk that way, we walk by faith, believing that God will take care of anything that would get in the way and make us stumble.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat

A beautiful picture. I am not much of a photographer but wish I had more time to learn.

That is a beautiful photo, and also a beautiful thought! I have the same camera as you and I wish I had the time to delve into photography…a dream for "someday"…LOL. One of my favorite things is to look up into the skies. I'm so intrigued by God's design of it all. But the analogy is so right on. Looking up really does change the perspective. Thanks for this! I'm going to do more looking up today…as life has been a bit tangled lately!

Tiffany,
What a beautiful photograph! I love your "eye." Years ago (back in the days of real film) I took black and white photos and just loved getting immersed in finding art and beauty in all the details around me.
Remember, it's not the camera as much as the person using it that makes a great picture.
Happy shooting,
Kelli

Your post really hit home…I started a blog to share what I saw around me…it just seemed to beautiful to keep to myself. I agree with the others here, it's not really the camera, but the one who takes the photo…that picture is glorious! What a Creator we have!

I saw the words in the flower with it's petals lifted high! Embracing the Father's love!
That's what He desires of us–look up! (as you said) EMBRACE all He has for us…the trials are for teaching–the tears are for washing–the journey is not much longer….I feel the finish line is up ahead!
I love you dearly my sweet friend!
