It’s About Time!

Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Selah
Psalm 62:8 (NIV)

Are you trusting God at ALL times? Be honest. At all times, really?

If not, today is a great day to start. As this Psalm says let’s pour out our hearts to God. He’s open to hear us. He cares about every detail of our lives. He is our refuge, our place of protection and safety. In Him, we can find real rest and renewal. Who doesn’t need that?

So give yourself a break and give your burdens to God. Trust Him.

And then, God in His mercy will receive your prayers and with a sigh of relief, He’ll whisper with a smile,

“It’s about time!”

  1. That's a message God started dealing with me about back toward the end of last year. I'm not there yet, but at least I know it's an area He's working on!

    Trusting God is an area I'm always striving to improve in. But as I'm learning more about His character, I'm discovering He is faithful and utterly trustworthy.

    So yes, it's TIME to trust Him. Big TIME. 😉

  4. I am struggling, but trusting. I keep reading Psalm 121 over and over again.
    "I lift my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, maker of heaven and earth…"

    I was reading Psalm 42 the other morning and I found myself confessing the need to trust in the Lord.
