Nothing like creation to make me worship the Lord. Outside my patio door at the retreat center this weekend stood a group of deer. I loved watching them interact with nature and one another. They had their eyes on me and my friends as we took pictures.
I don’t have much time to write this morning, but I wanted to stop in and share these pictures and God’s Word with you today.
It is God who arms me with strength
and makes my way perfect.He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;
he enables me to stand on the heights.Psalm 18: 32-33(NIV)
Now to those of you who are feeling like life is just one challenge and heartache after another, may these words speak deeply to your spirit.
Though the cherry trees don’t blossom
and the strawberries don’t ripen,
Though the apples are worm-eaten
and the wheat fields stunted,
Though the sheep pens are sheepless
and the cattle barns empty,
I’m singing joyful praise to God.
I’m turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God.
Counting on God’s Rule to prevail,
I take heart and gain strength.
I run like a deer.
I feel like I’m king of the mountain! Habbakkuk 3:18-19(MSG)
Have a great day, friends! You are precious to me.

Great quote from Habbakkuk, who was the first to write – "The just shall live by faith."

Dearest Tiffany, I have loved your post yesterday as well as today. Some days it is hard to wait for prayers of our loved ones to be answered-I'm going on 30 years for such an answer. Hang in there and remember it is His strength that will carry us through.
Hugs, Noreen

Love the pictures! Did I tell you I hit a deer after Christmas? He got up running after he did a little flip. I felt soooo bad. Prayed she would be ok.
The Lord's mercy is new every day. We can stand. B

We had a family of deer in our backyard and I watched as one of them was attempting to reach the bird feeder which was full of seed….It was precious and yet it also spoke volumes to on a spiritual level as well.
Thank you for sharing this and praying the Lord moves powerfully in and through you

I know that you don't do this for praise, as it is obvious you do it from pure joy to know Him…BUT…you are one of my happy makers today. Pop over to my place when you get a minute

Thank you for the kind words and the visit Tiffany! We do need to be reminded that God gives us the ability to stand on rocky cliffs at times! I love the character traits of creation that inspire us, except this fall my family has hit 3 deer! They are really multiplying and running into the roads! Thankfully, angels protected us, but our cars were pretty banged up. God please keep the deer in the woods and on those cliffs! Amen! We can learn best from them there.
