Are you walking through a dark time? Or, have you found yourself entering into a dark activity you never thought you’d try?
If so, you’re not alone. I’ve been there myself, more than once. Praise God for shining His light into those ugly, dark places. I love that I’m now more afraid of staying stuck in the dark than I am being fully seen in God’s light. I couldn’t say that a few years ago because I liked hiding. It felt safer. I didn’t want God to see all of me. Who was I fooling? I know, I know, myself.
I’m learning no matter where I try to hide God will find me. My darkness can’t keep Him away. Because God is perfect love.
And Perfect Love always runs to darkness.
Is there anyplace I can go to avoid your Spirit? to be out of your sight? If I climb to the sky, you’re there! If I go underground, you’re there! If I flew on morning’s wings to the far western horizon, You’d find me in a minute— you’re already there waiting! Then I said to myself, “Oh, he even sees me in the dark! At night I’m immersed in the light!” It’s a fact: darkness isn’t dark to you; night and day, darkness and light, they’re all the same to you. Psalm 139:7 The Message

Wednesday, May 5th at 10am my time(MST) my friend B (Barbara Keene) and I will be sharing again on Our Hiding Place. This week’s topic is “Declutter My Space.” What is taking up space in our daily lives that keeps us from enjoying our relationship with God?

Oh Tiffany, this is exactly the topic on my blog. I love that verse in Ps. 139 and shared the reason why today. I love that He runs to the darkness with His light!

Tiffany, I've been walking through a very difficult time for the last several years. However, I am starting to see the light. In the midst of the worst time, He has always been with me and I've known that. When I had no idea how all would turn out, I knew who I belonged to and so I was comforted.
I also have to say that I began blogging during a very trying time and it has become such a blessing for me. I need to come and visit you more often.
Blessings,
Debbie

I am busted… I am convicted. I'm convicted of the crime of hiding the dark trying to escape an all powerful, all knowing God. My punishment: pardoned. HE offers me grace to pardon my sin and give me light. Thank YOU Jesus!

Love this Tiffany. Thanks for sharing.

When I've been in the dark places, God's light shines the brightest, when I keep my heart open. I've tried to heal myself in the dark, feeing undeserving, but His light never goes out. There is so much comfort in that. Thank you for the reminder, again!

Great radio "show". It is what I needed to hear. Need to slow down and allow God to be heard through the noise of life. Thanks
