Great thought about a WORD for 2010. The first two that pop into my mind are Contentment and Captive. Getting into habit of taking every thought captive in 2010 is the most important item on my short Resolution list. I'll pray about this "Word' thing though, and see what God reveals to me. I like it. Can't wait to hear what Word he give you too.

Yes, Jim and I woke really excited to see 2010 come and what God would teach us in the New Year.
You know I always have a "New" Word that I embrace throughout the year.
This year comes to mind, TRUST. Trust in Him for your growth, trust Him for your friends and acquaintances, trust Him for your accomplishments in His Name. Trust Him to open and close doors on your behalf. I could go on and on as He showed me what to do with my special word to live by in 2010.

Happy New Year to you and love this idea of a "word" of the year…my BIL does this every Christmas for the coming year…this year he chose UNITY…he said that we just get together a few times a year and that the sad thing is…we are OK with it…so I think UNITY will be my word, too…UNITY with the Lord, with my family, and with friends….

It's so exciting to see God speaking the same things to so many of His children. I've heard several pastors quote this verse in the past few months. God TRULY is doing a "New Thing" in the hearts of His children! It's SO awesome to be a part of, isn't it?
My word for 2010 is, "DESTINY."
