I missed yesterday’s blog post and I’m behind still today, but I do plan to complete a full 31 days as promised. And if it takes us into the first few days of November, well then so be it. I will do that.
Tonight I’m pondering the word believe.
I’m so thankful that we have the freedom to believe or not to believe. I can’t imagine where I’d be with my beliefs. I remember who I was when I didn’t lean on my beliefs and went my own way. My life was a complete mess.
Have you stopped lately to consider what you believe?
Here’s a short and limited list of some of my beliefs.
I believe in God.
I believe in the power of prayer.
I believe people can change no matter how bad their past is.
I believe each person is unique and created by God.
I believe everyone can make a positive difference in the world, if they choose to.
I believe God has a good plan for our lives regardless of what the news or doctors say.
I believe as long as I have breath, I have purpose.
I believe God’s Word is 100% true.
I believe Jesus paid the ultimate price on the cross.
I believe there is an enemy who wants to destroy our lives.
I believe ultimately God wins the spiritual battle.
I believe in heaven, my forever home.
