Derek getting rid of the snow on deck. I was upstairs on the bedroom balcony. See hot tub. We loved hanging out there last night as a family underneath the stars. Heard a train go by. Watched a plane land at the local airport.

6:45 Easter morning as the sun was rising. I was up alone in the quiet. Loved it. I wanted to capture the moment. The dawn. Love how the moon was still shining..

Wow! What a special weekend! The the pictures are so vivid that I actually shivered from the cold ice and snow. You just gotta love the perks the Lord brings our way via our husbands’ jobs.
Friday and Saturday we had gorgeous weather here in the mtns of NC – it reached 65 one day. I actually thought spring might be coming. Easter was a clear day, but COLD. This morning (Monday), I’m at my desk, looking out the window and it’s snowing! Go figure.
