“What does it even matter?” “Who cares?” “I’m not even sure God cares anymore.”
* Do you feel alone?
*Do you wonder if your life even matters anymore?
* Do you have someone who cares about you? Someone who knows you for who you really are?
* Are you growing weary or discouraged as the days, months and years buzz by?
If so, you are not alone. I’ve had my fair share of doubt, discouragement and feeling all alone. This is life is full of difficult relationships and painful circumstances, but I am learning to hold onto hope no matter what things look like around me. Without hope I don’t know where I’d be. I do know that I’d be more of a mess than I already am.
The truth is I need hope and I need God.
And my hope is found in God’s Word alone. What He says matters MOST. Not what others say. I am slowly learning to tune out negative voices or that old negative self talk if it does not line up with what God says about me.
Today I am writing to remind you that GOD CARES ABOUT YOU today. Even now. This very moment. He cares about you no matter what you said or did today, or even in your past.
God cares.
And his care goes beyond our understanding.
His care is spelled: L-O-V-E.
God loves you as you are. Even when you feel alone and discouraged, He remains faithful and true. He’s not leaving you when you are depressed, defeated or angry, so you better get used to it.
He’s got you covered (in a blanket of perfect love), so please relax and rest today.
No more striving.
Instead rest in love.
Here’s some Truth to tuck in your pocket:
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7
Be strong and courageous.
Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged,
for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Matthew 10:29-31
“Listen to me, O house of Jacob,
all you who remain of the house of Israel,
you whom I have upheld since you were conceived,
and have carried since your birth.
4 Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you.Isaiah 46:3-4

Wow, I could have written this! I grew up often asking, “What’s the use?” which was the first sign of depression to come. Hope is most important to me of the three faith, hope and love because without it, I overlook and can’t live in the other two. I’m happy to read your words (and God’s words) of reassurance. Thanks, Tiffany.
