Blogging Break To Enjoy the Last of Summer

Just a quick note to say my blogging will be hit and miss for the next couple of weeks. Summer is almost over and I’m trying to get everything together for back to school, along with working part-time.  I plan to return with more consistency in September, after Labor Day.

Update on my family:

Derek and I celebrate twenty years of marriage on September 3rd. Yay! 🙂 We have a getaway planned. I can hardly wait.

My daughter, Hannah, starts high school next week, so we are shopping for school uniforms and supplies. Plus it’s her birthday this weekend. And she gets her braces off in less than a month!!

My son, Justin, starts college on the 22nd. He is staying home for another year and will attend community college. On Sunday night, he had 7 staples put in his head after not ducking enough to go under a bridge. He cracked his head on the steel support beam. Ouch.

Anyway so instead of blogging and visiting blogs, I’m embracing these last of summer moments. Hannah and I went on a sunset bike ride last night. Loved it.
