(Also I am not sure about this ministry that made this video, but I love the idea.)
I still can’t seem to wrap my brain around giving lots of gifts this year. Most Americans, including me, have too much stuff. I tried shopping for my kids and other family members this week with little success. I just walked around in a blur. I couldn’t land on anything except socks.
Please watch and let God speak to your heart!
My desire is to forfeit my Christmas gifts so that others may have their physical needs met.

I had this on my blog this past week, also.
Tiffany, you know my heart, so you know I’m struggling with the same issues.
If we as Americans would put an end to all this buying, buying, buying and gave to ministries that are viable and doing good around the world, we would truly be salt and light. I’m not saying the giving of gifts is wrong. What I’m saying is the over-indulgence is wrong. Buy with cash only – no debt. Buy meaningful gifts, not just gifts that feed the “give me” and “I need, I need” mentalities.
Gifting is not the evil. James 1:17 says that every good and perfect gift is from above, so there is a time, place and purpose for giving.
Let’s pray for each other, sister. To keep our focus on the true meaning of Christmas.

Tiffany,
I too have been in a blur this year. I wish I could get my family on this same page. I keep praying.
I want to send this video to everyone I know.
Blessings to you!

Really great point. We’re keeping it simple this year and I feel so good about it. There is absolutely nothing under the tree and I like it!! I just got an idea…
I hope you have a Merry CHRISTmas!

Tiffany, I shared this post in my friendsfeeder. I quoted you about the ministry who made the video.
I’ve been hearing a lot about this concept this season. Honestly, it’s an awesome concept.
Thank you for being my bloggy friend.
