Posting from Florida.
God answered my simple prayer as I walked in the warm beach waters. I said, “Lord, I know you see me. Thank you for this time with you. I’d love to find a sand dollar. I know you are able to send me one. You are God.” I thought to myself that’s a silly request, but that was what I wanted.
I kept walking. Nothing. Then as time went by I said, “God, you don’t have to send me anything. I know you are near. I know you see me.”
Soon after I found a sand dollar. I jumped inside. Yes, God sees me! And He cares about the simple desires of my heart. As I walked back to where my husband sunbathing, I found another one. I had to almost dive for that one. The waters almost swept it out to sea again, but I captured it. Unbroken. Two sand dollars.
I looked everyday since then for more. Not one! God answered my simple prayer by allowing, not just one, but two, sand dollars to float to shore. Call it no big deal, but I call it God’s love.
The rest of these pics are place I’ve written from. The one with the lawn furniture was our room. It’s been a sweet gift to be able to write in such beautiful settings. Derek and I have enjoyed our dinners out and time relaxing on the beach. It’s definitely hot and humid here. That’s an understatement!
Better get back to work now. I have a few more working hours!
Thank you for praying for my trip!

I loved the pictures….The beautiful sandy beaches of Florida.
Yea, it’s humid…that’s what our summers are like too… I remember the summer we were in Colorado…it was so refreshing. There was NO humidity.
I am so glad you’ve had such an awesome time.
I pray you have been refreshed and stirred by your time with Papa.
Hugs!
Julie

Oh Tiffanie,
How precious…
I’m so blessed you had such a wonderful time away and got to enjoy all that beauty.
I pray it was a fruitful time with your writing. (I prayed!)
When I read about your prayer on the beach, this word came to mind:
“Yet the Lord still waits for you to come to Him, so He can show you His love” (Isaiah 30:18).
Sending lots of love,
Susan
