Lord God in heaven, how great You are. Your name is above all names. No one is like You. You are high and lifted up, King, and LORD, creator of heaven, earth and all living things. I praise You. You are worthy. You are faithful. You are just and sovereign above all things. I bow in worship, knowing You are with me. What a gift. Your presence.
Thank You for Your grace. I’m stuck on the word grace this week. Everyday Your grace covers me. It’s a beautiful thing to live with the knowledge of Your grace. Abundant daily grace. Grace that changes me. Grace that changes the world. Come LORD and pour out more of Your grace on us. We need You and we need Your grace. Your grace is sufficient.
Jesus, I confess how little I love compared to You. You love unconditionally, I love conditionally. I want love to rule in my heart. Your perfect love, a love that never fades or falters.
I confess how I am prideful more than humble. I confess I choose unbelief over belief when it comes to taking risks. Or believing for new ministry. Please take my heart, break it and rebuild it into something pure, holy and righteous. Forgive me. Cleanse me of all my sins. Wash me white as snow.
Open my eyes to see what You see. Open my ears to hear the cries of others. Open my hands to reach out generously. Open my wallet to give out of sacrifice not just what is easy. Open my heart to feel what You feel for the needy in this world. These are Your sons and daughters. The orphan, the widow, the brokenhearted, the sick, the trafficking victims, the prostitute, the drug addict, the homeless, the person without hope, the hardhearted. Don’t leave me comfortable. Disturb me so that I am moved to action. Moved to LOVE! I don’t want to waste my life on the trivial, worldly things.
I want to spend in all in gratitude for the way You have loved me. I want to live as a living sacrifice. Not for works or approval or accolades, but all for YOU. In You, through You and for You. For Your glory. For Your good pleasure. For Your sweet smile.
May I be more focused on following You than ever before. When I hear Your love whisper, give me the grace to get up and join You. Where You go is where I want to be. Nowhere else but in Your presence.
Nothing separates our love. Thank You, Lord.
Thank You for the gift of today. May I live it in honor of You, Jesus. In Your precious, beautiful name I pray. Amen.

Warren Baldwin says
Grace saves and sustains. It pardens and empowers. What a gift.
With grace we can face some of the horrible systemtic and personal sins you mention (like trafficking) and face them courageously with the gospel.
Stirring post. wb

Thank you for your wonderful prayer, and for your efforts on behalf of trafficking victims! Hear what Jesus said:
Then [Jesus] spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”
Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? (Luke 18:1-7 NKJV)
