Father God, I praise you for the beauty of friendship. Thank you for sweet Marsha and her willingness to drive three and a half hours one way to pick me up for the gIRL Gathering this weekend. What fun we had talking non-stop, laughing and bouncing along the mountain dirt road.
And thank You for gift of being able to meet Julie face to face after all these years as blogging friends. Who knew my world would become so extra sweet through friendships with my sisters of faith online. Bless them LORD. Bless each and every heart that you have called to write online. Thank you for creating a beautiful circle of friends. Be with us, Jesus at the gIRL gathering as we take time away to meet You. We want to know You more. We need Your presence and Your Word. We won’t settle for anything less than You up, close and personal. Speak, LORD, Your girls are listening.
God Almighty, I praise You for being my rock, redeemer, and my shelter from the storms of life. You are good, full of compassion and love. Thank You for new mercies each morning. Thank You for who You are and who I am in You. You are the truth that sets me free. There is in lie or falsehood in You. You are righteousness and trustworthy.
Today I lift my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Maker of heaven and earth. Glory to You, Most High. Always to You I will sing. Even all of creation sings to You. Yes, even the rocks cry out to You.
You are more than I can understand. But what I do know is more than I can handle. You move me to tears when I consider all You have done to rescue and redeem and show me Your love. I’ve seen You move mountains and part seas to show Yourself to me. What a gift knowing You is. What would I do without You? Who would I be? Where would I be? You’ve picked me up from the pit of pits. A dark hole.
Wow, thank YOU!
Father, teach me to number my days so that I may gain a heart of wisdom. Help me let go of any complaining or ungrateful attitude in me. Create in me more and more gratitude. For every little thing. Every good and perfect gift comes from You.
Teach me to love first like You love. Teach me to forgive because I have been forgiven much. Teach me to see the world through eyes of love and mercy. Allow me to participate with You in reaching out to those who are suffering. I long to see captives set free. I long to see greater peace instead of anxiety, greater joy too. Flood us with your grace and love.
What comfort is it to know no weapon formed against me will prosper. Not ever.
Thank You for the fruit of Your Spirit living in me. Fill me with more love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self control. Enable me to deny my flesh any more ground. The old is gone and the new has come. Praise You, LORD.
Please come and touch Your people now. With more love, more power, more of You, LORD. We need a good revival. A good shaking if need be. We need You now more than ever. Come and invade our space. It’s time.
In the powerful name of Jesus I pray, AMEN and amen.

Hi Tiffany,

AMEN and AMEN! Sweet Tiffany!
I need a heart adjustment while I'm praying today, because I see many PETITIONS for prayer, but I don't see PEOPLE WRITING OUT A PRAYER…not even a simple prayer or a heartfelt prayer! I'm sorry to dump this here but I've been visiting and praying as usual and hardly see many who write a prayer! I'm thankful that YOU PRAY and most who link here, link a prayer!
Today FEARLESS FRIDAY, Angela wrote a prayer, the list of petitions is growing at The Lighthouse of Prayer but few prayers are left.
My heart is broken today. I'm watching the Mexican news and actually crying out to God, for the many suffering. There are sooooo many devastated and wiped out from the recent Hurricane Karl and the continual rains. Poor people walking in waist high water with nothing in Veracruz and other places. Returning to homes wiped out and all that they had gone!
Roads wiped out! Complete towns washed away… forgotten… devastated!
God's Word says He will not send another "flood" like in the days of Noah, but I've seen floods in India, Mexico, many places. And where are His people crying out, repenting, doing something… asking, pleading for God to "supply our needs" with the list growing & growing and little time for "relational prayer" with Him.
Thank you Tiffany for your prayer especially *reverse order of yours):
"Today I lift my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Maker of heaven and earth. Glory to You, Most High. Always to You I will sing. Even all of creation sings to You. Yes, even the rocks cry out to You."
"God Almighty, I praise You for being my rock, redeemer, and my shelter from the storms of life. You are good, full of compassion and love. Thank You for new mercies each morning. Thank You for who You are and who I am in You. You are the truth that sets me free."
Thank You Lord, Continue to be Our Protector, protecting us and keeping us clinging to You! Save us, have mercy on us. Set us free!
You are Our Savior! Our Deliverer!
Our Helper! Our Everything! Thank You for holding back Your Hand but
help the many who are perishing without You and Your Truth

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this girl Gathering this weekend! We ask that Your Holy Spirit would come, bring anointing, refresh, renew and move on these women! May it be a special time of reflection and enJoyment of Your sweet Presence & Your touch connecting hearts as One! Thank You for the women involved and coming!
Bless each one as they draw closer to You in Jesus' Name
[I have a prayer posting later and hope to link it up, though it is not a personal prayer of mine. I believe it's considered a prophetic prayer, but nonetheless when I added it to my post for today in place of mine, the prayer spoke words that I could not find to express… ]

WHOOOPS! I fouled up! I meant to list my prayer as "A prayer for our marriage" (meaning my wife and I).
Is there a way to fix it? Sorry to be so much trouble. The Internet broadcasts errors at the speed of light.
