Ever wondered what God’s will is for your life? I know I have. And I often hear of the mystery of discovering God’s will. But is it that difficult or mysterious?
I don’t know. You tell me after reading this verse.
Be joyful always, pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances,
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NIV).

Not sure why but that verse really jumped out at me today. Perhaps, I have not always been joyful, giving thanks no matter where He has us… These simply things He ask of us. Ouch!

Tiffany,
What a great verse to keep us remembering. Too often its hard to give thanks in the trying times but if we focus on what's left instead of what's gone it makes it easier to fulfill this scripture.

I so miss living where the mountains are a back drop. But I'm grateful to God for giving me the time I had there. Although, God willing, I really hope to have the opportunity again someday!

Wow! What exceptional scenery!! I sure could be joyful with that backdrop. (On the other hand, did you guys have snow recently?
We can't always choose our circumstances or geography, but we can always choose joy.
Thanks for the reminder and wonderful pictures.

Good words! Great verse! Makes me think! Love the swing photo! Awesome. Although I absolutely didn't like Denver — Colo Springs was always beautiful and I loved my few visits there. Looks like it's still beautiful – love the mountains!! (I moved to Denver after living on an island in the plush Puget Sound, HUGE difference!) Great photos! Thanks, Jenn
