I wish that everyone who loves Jesus, or is even slightly interested in becoming a Christian, would find a church that is ideal for them, and start attending it.
There is such comfort and joy in worshiping with a group.
In hard times, churches are usually great places for helping people.
Relationship. Both with God and with other strong Christians.
It is so easy to get lost in the chaotic noise that is our constant…and when we do, we lose sight of Truth and our grasp on reality falls slack. We hide our true selves…we bury our pain and our needs in an effort to arrive at church perfectly dressed and attractively smiled…and that is not what He called us to.
I think people need to know the call of their Savior and the arms of their supporters again…
I think shame is a big one the devil can play with. I've been thinkingto write on jealousy and envy too. Great blog. :O)

Is shame defined as being ashamed of a sinful act? Or is it shame for something done to you? When I think of shame, there are many things in the past to be ashamed of, but God has washed that away..so maybe my perspective is different because of the circumstances. Perhaps had it been rape or a violation , not of my own choice..shame would take on a new meaning? Perhaps just a different view because not exposed to certain situations. Can't wait to see what you will do with this amazing topic….

I think people have a desperate need for relationships with others and to be understood by others. People are very closed off these days and it can be hard to form real relationships. It's important that we, as Christians, make an effort to reach out to others and not stay in our shell.

I think the greatest need that often stops folks from even being able to receive…a lack of humility
Humility is often the thing that gives the ability to hear.
Real shame is a response that calls for a change in behavior.
Inappropriate shame is an accusation to assault condemn and control.
That is a very powerful video! It reminded me of myself soooo many years ago. Praise God I don't feel that way any more – that He has brought me into His light and His love!!

Shame is a very important issue to deal with.
Tiffany my dear sister, the greatest need of today is a bigger heart to FORGIVE what others have done, and move on! its the toughest thing and the most blessed gift! you know how God has forgiven all of us including you and this is what he wants us to learn and master it!
