At the Crossroads, Asking for One More Sign

Ever been at a place of decision and needed a clear sign from God?

Well, that’s how I’ve felt for months now. While I was talking to a friend on the phone about this exact crossroad, I looked down at my paper pile. There just so happened to be a cartoon that my son drew(years ago) on top.

The Stop, Look -n- Listen girl knew what it meant. I love how persistent and patient God is with me. As I asked for one more sign and God sent me ONE.

My stop sign has changed to GO.

I’ve heard “go” for months now. Go where? Can I blame my unbelief on being blond? Not.. 🙂 It’s time to BELIEVE GOD.

So no more standing still for me. It’s time to start walking again. Forward with God into new unexplored lands, letting Him lead.

Maybe He’s waiting for you too. Are you at a crossroads? What does your sign say: stop or go?

Thank You, Lord, for waiting for me. I’m willing and ready to walk with You. Let’s GO!

This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. Jeremiah 6:16(NIV)

  2. I'm stuck at the moment. My heart's fear says stop. It's confusing me and clouding my hearing of God. I'll be praying about this. Thank You Lord for using Tiffany to reach out to me.

  4. I received my sign yesterday and am now moving slowly forward. It will be a long journey, but God has been nudging me towards this for quite a number of months now. I prayed yesterday morning and asked the same question of Him again…3 hours later He answered. Thank you for this post, as it's yet another clear sign that I am heading in the right direction – HIS direction.

  8. Oh Tiffany, if you word is go…then you must go forward. You don't even have to know exactly where it is you are going…I love the story of Abraham…God said Go and he got up and went (early)…oh what blessings and miracles followed him for being obedient…as they will for you! I will be praying as you go….

  9. Funny enough…yes we are at a crossroads too. Not the first time, will not be the last time. I have learned from past experience when I don't feel a go to just wait patiently until I do.

  18. I agree Tiffany…it's time to "go" in my life as well…to take another giant leap of faith…to stand strong and BELIEVE GOD. I think Peter taught us…keep your eyes on Jesus…we don't want to go under. I think Thomas taught us…never doubt. I pray that God will flood our hearts with peace and confident hope as we step forward in faith and trust in Him!
