Do you believe God sees you?
Do do believe He is IN your every moment?
I do.
Last night during Hannah’s dance hour, I drove to pick a Bible study book I was looking for. I had an hour to do it in, which wasn’t much considering I had to drive across town. Now here’s the thing: I had no radio. Our car hasn’t had music for a month or more now because of a simple battery change. Goodness these modern day anti-theft features! Who has time to pull the radio and find a security code?
So anyway, driving in the silence I decided to pray out loud because it helps me stay focused. As I prayed, I felt praise and songs coming on. So I shifted gears and began to sing. Boy, is my voice rusty. LOL. Anyway, I told myself to ignore the way I cracked. This time wasn’t about me. It was about Him.
Well, when I got to Mardel’s, they were closed. I never knew they closed during Wednesday service hours. Wise choice for them, but frustrating for me because I thought they would be open until 8pm like their hours sign said. Plus when I called earlier, they had this book.
Now what?
I didn’t know what to do so I called my husband for some bookstore phone numbers. No luck. So I started my way back to Hannah’s dance. As I drove I sang again, trying to ignore my voice.
I sang, “Savior, He can move the mountains. My God is mighty to save. He is mighty to save.”
Then I had a clever idea. Check a church bookstore since they’re open on Wednesday night.
Nope. The front desk greeter told me they were closed during service hours. Okay fine. No book tonight then.
I looked at the time on my cell phone and saw that I had ten more minutes before I needed to get back in my car. Hearing music from the sanctuary, I walked closer to take a peek. After being handed a bulletin, I stepped inside and stood in the back of the darkened room.
Guess what they were singing?
“Savior, He can move the mountains. My God is mighty to save. He is mighty to save.”
I felt God’s smile.
I closed my eyes, sang a little louder, and held my hand up high.
God sees me.
He sees you.

Wonderful testimony, Tiffany…I can relate to singing alone in the car and listening to my crackly voice, but it's beautiful to the Lord's ears! Yes, I believe He sees every moment of my life, and I'm so glad that I know He does…I am confident that my days and nights are in His hands, and no matter what may happen, He has already ordained it, so there is nothing to complain about, nothing to fret about…just trust, obey, and praise Him for being the wonderful and great I AM.
I'm curious to know what the book is that you were looking for, and did you ever find it?
God bless,
Mary

Well I am seeing/feeling His smile NOW. I just dropped off a cute vase with flowers that said SMILE for a teacher at the High School. I took a pic of it. Now I know why… to show you when I get my computer back from the geek squad. My last line was a prayer that she felt God's smile on her life today. I have been thinking about the word SMILE for two or three days. I had my blood drawn this morning and a man told me my smile encouraged him. I believe God is beaming at us. We are supposed to reflect it back to those in our path. Wow, Tiffany. God is giving us a word and a picture. Hmmm. B

Denise, thanks for your faithful support to me and for your love for Jesus.
Jason, good to know guys are free to sing in their cars too. ๐ I'd love to catch someone singing and praising while driving.
Mary, yes, it's true that we can walk through life a lot easier if we live trusting Him with circumstances that don't work as we plan. God's plan was even sweeter. He met me in the car and in the sanctuary.
Book? Esther by Beth Moore.
Barbara, I am always SO excited when you confirm God's word to me. He is always speaking. Thank you for listening and in turn, blessing many.
NOW BACK TO MY SILENT CAR FOR THE BOOK AGAIN. WILL TODAY BE THE DAY I FIND IT OR DOES GOD HAVE SOMETHING ELSE IN MIND?

Tiffany,
As I was reading your post this morning, my radio is on, so I can worship and praise God while I blog and Mighty to Save came on during your blog as I was reading it. Coincedience? Nope, I think not, I think God wanted me to join in your worshipping of Him.

Basking in the glory of the Risen King… Praise and honor to HIM. AMEN!
I love that song. I played it, sang along… I hope I didn't break my husband's ear drums… LOL He seems to be ok. No comments! Maybe I scared him. LOL
As God's word says: Make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Mine was definitely a joyful noise, but in tune, maybe not to human ears… but to God I sounded like an angel! AMEN!
