I went on a family walk last night with my husband, daughter and her two neighborhood friends. On the way back, we stopped for a little break. This is what I learned in a brief ten minutes at the park. Love the free and playful spirit of a child.
Life is more enjoyable with a friend at your side.
For greater enjoyment, lean into life!
Real living is feeling the grass between your toes and throwing your socks up ahead of you.
For the fresh perspective on the world, try laying low with your belly down. You just might like it.
Even when life turns upside, you can still have fun.
No matter if you win or lose, enjoy the race! And who cares who’s watching.

We just need to get back to the basics; family, love and God.
Everything will fall into place when we finally learn to slow down and start learning how to enjoy life once again.
Thank you for sharing this.

Loved this! I don’t play as much as I should. I need to do this more often for my kids and for myself!

Awww, awesome pictures!!!
I once heard that having children is like receiving a second chance to live like a child again 🙂 it’s true! My son is the perfect excuse for me to jump on the bed, play in the park, and nibble on cookie dough 🙂 God is amazing!

What fun pictures. I could hear the laughter and feel the warm spring air. Isn’t it so true that we often find the greatest joys in the simplest things.

Thank you for visiting my blog so that I in turn had the privilege of discovering your beautiful, inspiring blog. As I read down through the first few posts, I quickly realized we have some of the same thoughts. The fog…oh, how perfectly you expressed my heart…driving through the fog on so many days, yet knowing in my heart, eventually it will clear and I will understand. I will be back when I have time to sit and read back over more of your posts.

I love the innocence of childhood. Now that my MIL had dementia, she’s recaptured that and I’d have to say that we would all do well to savor the little things in life like the joy of a swing and the flavor of an ice cream cone. Great post.

Tiffany, Your writing reveals the “Happy” in Mother’s Day. Every day is a mother’s day. I wrote about “Pain or Promise:The Price of Children” at http://www.courageoussingleparenting.blogspot.com/
Too often we miss the everyday rewards children bring. I love how you capture those sweet moments.

I love this Tiffany, we can learn so much from our kids can’t we!
Thank you so much for your prayers and concerns for me this week, I am much better, my pain lifted on Friday and has not come back… we did have to take David to the ER Thursday night to get stitches in his ear, he and his brother were playing Red Rover and he fell and hit the wall and almost sliced his ear in half… but he is fine now.
Have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
Blessings!
