I’m learning that trying to see ahead for my future is like driving through the fog.
With weather like this, I can’t go the regular speed limit. Slowing down is required.
I must be extra alert because my visibility is limited. I can only see what is right in front of me. Yet I long to see so much more. So I grip my steering wheel, press lightly on my gas peddle and inch forward, watching for road signs and red lights that may appear at the last minute.
Deep down, I ache for the dark skies to break and for the SON to come shining in with a clear voice, “This is the way walk in it.”
If that day never comes, I will still appreciate the weather and drive for what it is. Because I know I am never alone. God is with always me.
(As for today, the Son is shining! But now I’m blinded by His light. Still limited in vision. It’s always something! God knows best.)

What’s the visibility like for you today?

Thank you for that lesson & reminder. It's like this for me too. Just let God have the reigns! He'll lead us through.

This is so good, Tiffany! I get so frustrated having to slow down in the fog…but it is for my safety and thd safety of others. It keeps me from running too far ahead of Him. I have to remember that I can trust where He is leading me to. He is for me and loves me! ๐
And I wanted to let you know I am praying for you with your testimony on Sunday!
Blessings!

Hey Tiffany,
You always keep us thinking…
It seems like God only allows me to see so far, and then I have to trust him for the rest of the way.
Sometimes I think this is a good thing, not sure I could handle all that lies ahead.
One day at time, his grace is sufficient.

You always leave me with so much to ponder. There’s a lot of fog around me now, too. But I think God prefers that sometimes.

I enjoyed this thought a lot. Sight is blury for me or very clear depending if I am looking right or left. Still in peace because I know God has a clear view and He is guiding my feet.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I sure enjoy meeting new friends. Hope to see you back soon

Faith provides our way through the fog. But, that doesn’t mean we don’t bump into things along the way. Faith doesn’t necessarily lift the fog; it just gives us the confidence to keep going. Good post.

That is so neat—I had done a post for the Cafe last year sometime and could not find my camera— the morning I drove in the fog…and I had a “post” inspiration!
BUT last week—I had my camera…and the pictures were snapped!
I love how HE gives us inspiration in the everyday …of our every days.
I love you dear friend!

Thanks for stopping by my blog & for leaving a comment. I love new faces!
This is a great post. Today the Son is shining in my life, but there are certainly days when I try to get ahead of him and am reminded to slow down & remember He is God.
Have a great weekend!
Love,

Keep walking till you press thru, friend. Steps of faith, one at a time, sometimes big … sometimes small. All times worthy.
Happy Mother’s Day.

This is just like faith. We can’t see what’s ahead but we take each day or even moment at a time with the Lord. He will get you through whatever you’re going through.
