Hannah and I were driving to the doctor’s after school when all of a sudden she shouted, “Mom, look there’s a giraffe.” Why would there be a giraffe in Colorado Springs? I looked for a bumper sticker, sign, something. I saw nothing.
“Where?”
“Right there.” After a moment of watching me look around, she added, “In the sky.”
Wow, now I see! I grabbed my camera from my purse and Hannah quickly snapped these two shots.
I love the skies. Isn’t God an amazing artist?
Lord, help us not just go through our days. Help us notice your wonders. Open up our eyes and ears and hearts to know You more.

That’s so cool! Once, when I was a girl, I was on a road trip with my family and I was sleeping in the car. I woke up and looked at the sky and saw a castle in the clouds. I thought I was seeing Heaven. :0)

I love it! I used to lay on a blanket in my front yard when I was a kid and look at the clouds like that.
I stopped by last night and tried to leave a comment on your (B’s) turtle post but got booted off the internet. I met B about the time she posted that. Turtles and mosaics both have a prominent place in my life too. I connected with Barbara for those reasons myself. Many of her posts speak to my heart.
Rich blessings to you Tiffany!

I see the giraffe too.
And HOW PREPARED you were to capture that photo! GO MOM!
I love when God makes ordinary, extraordinary.
One day, I was really sad and drove my olde chevy pickup truck, the back-way to the cemetary to my angel Mothers grave. Driving along, this really BIG deer stepped out of the woods onto the road in front of me. I slowed down and stopped and we just “looked at eachother” for a moment before it moved. No one else was around… but I knew God used that deer to WOW me. I started praisin Him and my whole perspective “changed.” I went from ordinary sadness to extraordinary GLADNESS!

That’s an amazing picture. I love it.
One of my very favorite thing is clouds. I love to look at them, take pictures of them, watch them come and go….
Nahum says, “The clouds are but the dust of His feet”
I think that’s why I love them so much.
Thanks for your words on my blog, today!
Hope your week is going well.
Love ya,
Julie
