Do you know who you are? I mean, really are? Are you comfortable sharing what you love or hate(like I hate that abortion is legal and the norm) with others? Or do you try to please everyone you know by changing with your surroundings like a chameleon?
Do you know why you exist TODAY?
Have you uncovered a pattern from your past that might lead to your future?
What is it that you DO that makes your heart come alive?
What is it that you DO that burdens or bores you?
Clues lie hidden just under the surface. Past joys. Past pains. Interests and experiences. Dreams. Some of us purposefully stay so busy to avoid listening to our heart. We won’t stop longer enough to explore who we are. But all the while, the heartbeat within us keeps ticking and we can feel our pulse. Sometimes it beats softly. Sometimes it races and thumps loudly and we worry others can hear it. We breathe in and breathe out, trying to calm down. But could that be a message God is trying to send us?
A signal to our life purpose. His design.
A past pain to revisit and then heal.
A passion to be explored and used to help others.
The choice is yours. Will you do the hard work to uncover why you are alive? Will you enter into a quiet place, grab a shovel and dig deep? Will you cry out to God for wisdom?
God is near. He is waiting. Your life has significant meaning. God has work for you to do. On earth–today!
What are you waiting for?
Time is ticking.
Your heart will one day stop beating.
Don’t let God’s purpose in your life be silenced out by busyness or fear.
Dig, explore, and share with others what you’ve uncovered!
(I’m learning I am to be a VOICE for Him. Writing and speaking words that make people think. It’s not easy. I feel like Moses. I’ve argued about my calling and told God, “Not me, I’m not qualified enough.” God and I wrestle a lot.I’m slowly learning to surrender and obey!)

Tiffany,
This really spoke to me today. I’ve been doing a lot of work and God is slowly peeling the layers away for me to get through with HIS strength.
Thank you!

Thank you for that…

There is purpose in you feeling like you don’t have what it takes to do what He has asked you to…so that He can do it through you and then knock your socks off at just how amazing He is.

I love how He unfolds our lives before us as we enter into that deep, intimate place of love…. allowing Him to love us, and responding to that love, learning to love ourselves. The more I love myself and see myself as He does, the more I see who He made me to be.
It is the great rescue mission… my heart.
Loved your heart’s sharing, my friend.
Hugs,
Julie

A good and thought provoking post, I read it yesterday but waited to comment because I wanted to “think” on it…
I thought about the things I am passionate about… I am passionate about being a wife and a mother, I am passionate about the Word of God and prayer…
In thinking about what I am passionate about and looking at what God has called me to do, I can see how my passions fit His callings. I desire to teach my children all I can about His Word and how to pray, I desire to teach others His Word and the power it has to change their lives, and I desire to be a Godly wife for my husband…
Thank you for sharing what God lays on your heart with us! You are a blessing!

Tiffany,
I was surrounded my whole life by chameleons and I have such a distaste for them. That is the one thing I refuse to be!
And now I find myself having a lot of alone time with the Lord ~ He is definitely working on me. I’m grateful and learning to be content.
Blessings to you, my friend.
