Why wait? Why wait when you can have it all now?
That’s my question as I look to the next season of my kids going back to school. As a mom who wants to be a part of something bigger than myself, I naturally want to jump on board every train I see and hear passing by. Every passenger car has something written on the side, phrases like:
“The newest and latest Bible study starts soon, register today. Two spots left.”
“Got a favorite hobby? Join a small group and meet new friends who love what you love. Or consider starting your own group.”
“Top Ten Ways to Jump Start Your Ministry. Sign up today!”

Yesterday, I was so in need of a word from God I was hopping around looking for encouragement – by happenstance, I stumbled upon your blog. It was a link from a link. Your question was simple – ‘how does your heart feel’. Normally, I’m a – just say fine and move on – type of gal. Nobody really wants to hear your business and it will all pass anyway. But your words were sweet and I was encouraged – and God knew I needed it. Then today, to stop back by and again God is talking to me through your words. I need to stop doing ‘stuff’ and just let Him talk to me.
