Hannah made the decision to get baptized. So that’s what we did on Sunday! I’m a happy mommy knowing Hannah wanted to take this step of faith!
The moment after! Derek, my husband, did a wonderful job speaking love over Hannah. I feel so thankful knowing she has a daddy who loves her. A younger woman came up to Derek afterwards and told him how his love for her touched her heart. She doesn’t have a dad. So sad. I hope she knows how much her Heavenly Father loves her. Her parting words to my husband, “Keep loving your girl.”
Couldn’t believe that so many of our friends showed up to support our family. I teared up just looking out and seeing rows and rows taken up by those who love us.
( Sorry I haven’t been here lately. Today is Hannah’s 11th birthday. We had a busy weekend and I am recovering from a cold I had all of last week. In the summer, can’t believe it! I’ll be back in the next day or two or three. I have lots of blogs to catch up on and lots to share. Thank you for taking the time to visit me.)

Praise God for your daughter’s decision! And what a blessing to have such a wonderful daddy and such a great group of supportive friends and family!
So sorry you have had a cold… I haven’t been able to blog and check blogs as much lately either, August has just turned out to be a really busy month, but after next week things should slow down, I am definitely looking forward to some slower days!
Blessings!

New to blogging and came across this blog. There is nothing more beautiful than a parent seeing their child baptized!
Thank you Jesus for all of Your mercies in every form they come.
