First let me say I’m a library junkie. I love, love the resources there. I rent books, magazines, audio books, movies and music. I can get lost for an hour or two reading title after title. And usually I take home more than I can read or watch by their due date.
Last night, we watched a movie called Creatures That Defy Evolution III. This is the third one we’ve seen and each time I’m fascinated at creation. I love learning about different animals and how they function. Can’t believe I didn’t enjoy this in elementary school. Who wants to cut open a frog or some sheep heart anyway?
Movies like this one remind me of our awesome Creator. Today I’m thankful for the library. I’m thankful that God shows himself through his masterpiece. Creation. Thank you, God, for defying the evolution theory through animals like the butterfly, the hummingbird, and the penguin. These animals shout, “I’m designed! I’m designed!”
If you haven’t seen this series, I highly recommend it. Just FYI, the announcer is a bit corny. Maybe your local library has the DVDs. If not, they are worth buying as a source of encouragement. They’re great to show people who don’t believe in creation science to challenge their thinking.

Hey, I love the library, too. And we are at such an advantage-our library system has SO many Christian materials! Thanks for the recommendation.

That dvd sounds wonderful, Tiffany. I have always loved the library. Our rural community is rather lacking in resources, so I have a card in a neighboring county library. The card catalog is online. It isn’t the same as perusing the shelves of books (just the smell off books is delightful), but I can search for books online and order them to be delivered to the closest branch for me to pick up. I can check out up to 50 resources at one time and can keep them for 4 weeks.
I hope your weekend has been absolutely delightful!

I love the DVD too. I was reading your blog the other evening and Jim was working away on his system too. He said, “Hey, that sounds nice, turn it up while we work.”
Every time I pet my kitties or grand-dog, Maggie and look in their eyes, I see Jesus. I love His creation.
Library…you are talking Heaven on Earth! Love going there and smelling all the word smells.

Well, you know me. I am thankful for the hummingbird too.
And maybe if I visited the library more I wouldn’t spend so much–money and time–at the bookstores!
:O)
